US Homeland Security Secretary taken to hospital, is OK, media reports

 


WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Washington, DC, on Tuesday where she has been conscious and has spoken with her security detail, CNN reported.

CBS News also reported that Noem was taken to a hospital in the capital, and said that she was "OK."

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.
