WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate voted to confirm President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Waltz, as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations on Friday, just in time for next week's U.N. General Assembly.
The tally was 47 to 43 in the 100-member chamber, with several senators missing the vote.
