At that time, mainland media reported that during the release of 'Fire Seed,' Tian Hairong was revealed to have 147 million yuan in equity frozen by the court, with 108 million yuan in deposits seized, and overseas trusts becoming invalid upon expiration. Tian Hairong also began urgently liquidating her assets. Online rumours spread that her 120 million yuan luxury apartment was on the verge of a 'supply cutoff,' with only four days left in the grace period, leaving her as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. The apartment saw three consecutive price drops over three days, yet there were no serious buyers, and even her Mercedes was listed for a quick sale. These financial troubles raised significant concerns among cinemas, prompting them to immediately withdraw the film, as box office returns could soon be redirected to the court instead of reaching the production company, making it impossible to settle box office revenues normally.
