U.S. Military Captures Maduro, Dealing a Heavy Blow to the CCP; Is Wang Yi Deaf and Blind and Set to Take the Blame?

[People News] Maduro was easily captured alive by the U.S. military, primarily because he fell for the CCP's deceptions, selectively listening to and believing their misleading claims. He genuinely believed that the CCP's radar defence network was robust, and together with Russia's defence capabilities, it could stand up to the U.S. and sufficiently ensure his safety. Unbeknownst to him, the weapon systems provided by China and Russia were as ineffective as scrap metal, allowing U.S. forces to invade his bedroom while he was still lying in bed.

The repercussions of Maduro's capture are currently inflicting significant damage on Beijing's diplomatic credibility. Analysts suggest that someone within the CCP's diplomatic apparatus may need to take responsibility for this failure.

A source from Beijing's diplomatic community disclosed to The Epoch Times that the U.S. initiated the capture of Maduro shortly after his meeting with the CCP's special envoy, placing the Chinese side in a reactive position. This source remarked, 'The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now in a very awkward situation; this effectively disrupts a series of prior diplomatic efforts by the CCP.'

As reported by Reuters, a CCP official privately acknowledged that Maduro's arrest represents a 'big blow' to the CCP. Compounding the embarrassment for Xi Jinping's administration is the fact that just hours before the U.S. military acted, the CCP's special envoy had just met with Maduro for a handshake and photo opportunity, promoting this as a diplomatic success and quickly disseminating it through the CCP party media, thereby exposing the ineptitude of CCP diplomacy and turning it into a global laughingstock.

In a recent swift operation to capture Maduro, the U.S. military mobilised 15,000 soldiers, one aircraft carrier, 11 warships, and dozens of F-35 fighter jets. Despite such a significant deployment, Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister, shockingly received no prior warning. This situation is reminiscent of being both blind and trapped, allowing the U.S. military to successfully execute the surprise mission in under three hours without any casualties, capturing Maduro alive. This military action has left Xi Jinping in Zhongnanhai trembling with fear. If the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) decides to hold Wang Yi accountable for this, will he be able to provide sufficient justification for his actions?

Historically, since the Chavez era, Venezuela has been a key ally of the CCP in Latin America. Maduro even sent his son to study at Peking University in 2016. The longstanding close relationship suggests that the CCP has misled them significantly, resulting in their gullibility in purchasing and using Chinese-made radar protection systems.

Zhong Zhidong, an assistant researcher at the National Defence Strategy and Resources Research Institute of the Taiwan National Defence Security Research Institute, informed The Epoch Times that Trump's actions have dealt a blow to Beijing, as both the CCP's diplomatic and intelligence agencies misjudged the situation, which may necessitate an internal review.

Shen Mingshi noted that intelligence failures can lead to excessive optimism, resulting in discrepancies in Xi Jinping's decision-making. With Xi Jinping's reputation tarnished, he is likely to face scrutiny from within the party.

Shen Mingshi believes that following this incident, the CCP's foreign policy may see minor adjustments, and someone will inevitably have to take the blame, most directly the ambassador to Venezuela or officials in the foreign ministry. Foreign Minister Wang Yi may also not be reappointed at this year's Fifth Plenary Session or next year's 21st National Congress.

Gong Xiangsheng pointed out that this incident underscores the shortcomings of the Chinese Communist Party's intelligence capabilities, emphasising that the intelligence agencies bear greater responsibility.△
