Vance Aptly Quotes an Ancient Chinese Saying: The Fourth Plenum Accelerates the Collapse of the Red Walls

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance Visit to Israel

[People News] On October 24, during his second major speech on U.S.–China relations, U.S. Vice President Vance once again quoted an ancient Chinese saying: “People see the present; Heaven sees the long term.” These eight Chinese characters carry very profound meaning and are helpful for understanding the CCP’s Fourth Plenum.

Historical Background to the Convening of the Fourth Plenum

In 2002, in Jiangbu Township, Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, a “Hidden Character Stone” dating back 270 million years was discovered, on which the six characters “The Chinese Communist Party perishes” (“中国共产党亡”) were strikingly visible. The emergence of this non–man-made “Hidden Character Stone” revealed to the world the heavenly secret of “Heaven eliminating the CCP.”

In November 2004, The Epoch Times published the series of editorials “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” which for the first time announced to the world the CCP’s nature of opposing Heaven, opposing the Earth, opposing humanity, and opposing the divine, thereby opening the curtain on “Heaven eliminating the CCP.”

In June 2019, Hong Kong saw the largest-ever movement resisting the CCP’s tyranny—the anti–extradition bill movement. The slogan “Heaven eliminates the CCP” was written all over the streets and alleys of Hong Kong, and at many rallies, marches, and demonstrations, the cry of “Heaven eliminates the CCP” resounded through the skies. Today, I saw a photo showing that on an overpass in mainland China, someone also wrote the four characters “Heaven eliminates the CCP” (“天灭中共”)!

The year 2019 marked the 171st anniversary of Marx’s publication of the Communist Manifesto. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the communist regimes of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe all collapsed overnight. This was a historic event of “Heaven eliminating the Communist Party.” Thereafter, the CCP lingered on for nearly 30 more years. Now the time has come for Heaven to eliminate the last and largest communist party on Earth—the CCP.

On October 28, Beijing experienced the strongest wind and sandstorm weather seen in nearly a decade. Gale-force winds whipped about, yellow sand filled the sky, and the entire city of Beijing was shrouded in a miasma.

It was precisely against this historical backdrop that the CCP’s Fourth Plenum was convened in Beijing on October 28.

What Was the CCP Doing Before the Fourth Plenum?

Before the CCP’s Fourth Plenum, it did many things. The four key ones are:

Persecuting Falun Gong for 20 Years—and Continuing the Persecution

On July 20, 1999, then–CCP dictator Jiang Zemin launched a frenzied, massive persecution of Falun Gong. This persecution has continued for 20 years and has created the largest human rights disaster in the 21st century. To this day, the persecution continues.

According to Minghui.org, from January to September, CCP police kidnapped at least 4,805 Falun Gong practitioners, and 528 people were illegally sentenced. On August 15, nine members of a single family of Falun Gong practitioner Meng Xiangqi in Kangping Community, Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province, were illegally arrested. The nine are: Meng Xiangqi; Meng’s father-in-law Yao Deyi; mother-in-law Fu Guihua; mother Wang Guizhen; father Meng Fanjun; sister-in-law of his wife, Yu Jianli, and her husband Wang Dongji; Yu Jianli’s father-in-law Wang Kemin; and mother-in-law Wang Fengzhi. Only Meng Xiangqi’s wife, Yu Jianping, and their 3-month-old baby were left at home, and even these two were placed under residential surveillance by the police.

On October 26, Fox News in the United States published a report titled “Survivors and Victims on the Horrifying, State-Sanctioned Organ Harvesting in China,” introducing the final judgment of the London “Independent People’s Tribunal” on June 17 this year and interviewing several witnesses. The tribunal ruled: the CCP is guilty of crimes against humanity; its large-scale organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience has existed for many years and is still ongoing; Falun Gong practitioners are the primary source of organs.

The CCP’s large-scale organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners has been called “a crime unprecedented on this planet.”

Hong Kong Has Been Tormented Into Its Darkest Period in History

The CCP took back Hong Kong only 22 years ago, yet it has repeatedly violated its promises in the Sino–British Joint Declaration regarding “one country, two systems,” and has meddled in many affairs outside of “defense and foreign affairs” that it should not control, step by step eroding Hong Kong’s freedoms. By June of this year, all the contradictions that had accumulated over 22 years of CCP torment in Hong Kong erupted in the form of the anti–extradition bill movement.

Over the past four-plus months, the CCP directly transplanted to the streets and alleys of Hong Kong the various rogue methods it used to persecute Falun Gong in mainland China over the past 20 years, repeatedly staging the ugly dramas of “high pressure” and “deception.” So far, Hong Kong police have fired more than 5,000 tear gas rounds and arrested nearly 3,000 people, the youngest only 12 years old. A 15-year-old girl, Chen Yanlin, was found floating naked at sea. Some Hongkongers testified in Taiwan that a junior high school girl was gang-raped by more than four black-clad police officers. According to reports, more than 100 people have “committed suicide,” and such “suicide” cases continue to rise. Many are suspected of being murdered by black police and then labeled as “suicide.”

On November 2, multiple districts in Hong Kong held rallies and marches; police subsequently cleared the sites with violence. More than 200 people were arrested that night, setting a record for the most arrests in a single day.

China’s Economy Has Been Tormented to the Brink of Collapse

In September, the CCP’s foreign exchange reserves were US$3.09 trillion. A research report by Japan’s Daiwa Capital in August 2018 showed that the State Administration of Foreign Exchange’s published total external debt did not include U.S. dollar bonds issued by Chinese enterprises in places such as Hong Kong, New York, the Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. If all these U.S. dollar debts are included, the CCP’s total external debt could be US$3 trillion to US$3.5 trillion, more than US$1 trillion higher than official figures. On this basis, netting external debt against foreign exchange reserves, the CCP’s foreign exchange reserves may be negative!

On October 18, China’s National Bureau of Statistics announced a third-quarter GDP growth of 6% this year. On October 21, U.S. President Trump stated that the real situation may be negative. “They (the CCP) say this year is very bad—the worst in 57 years. If they themselves say so, that means it’s worse than that.” In September, capital outflows from China reached US$89 billion. World-class companies such as Samsung, Intel, Nokia, and Nitto Denko are pulling out of China one after another.

The consequences of industrial chains moving out of China are: sharp declines in foreign exchange, tax revenue, and industrial output; decreases in imports and exports; and surging unemployment!

Making Enemies Everywhere, Not a Single True Friend Internationally

October 1 of this year marked the CCP’s “National Day” 70th anniversary “grand celebration.” The CCP held the largest, most expensive, and most grandiose military parade in human history, yet did not invite a single foreign head of state or government leader to watch. Why? Because the CCP stubbornly clings to Marxist fallacies that have repeatedly proven to be a scourge on humanity, insists on rejecting universal values, and is drifting farther from countries around the world—having not a single true friend worldwide.

The Fourth Plenum Will Only Accelerate the CCP’s Collapse

As a normal political party, holding a central plenary session once a year should surely focus on the major issues of greatest concern to the people. Regarding the four major issues above, the CCP’s Fourth Plenum gave none of them proper attention, let alone workable solutions.

What did the Fourth Plenum actually do? In the over 5,000-character communiqué of the Fourth Plenum, the word “uphold” (“坚持”) appeared 57 times. Uphold what? In a word, uphold the Party’s leadership over everything—the so-called “the Party leads everything in government, military, society, and academia; in the east, west, south, north, and center.”

The Party has led the persecution of Falun Gong for 20 years, stripping all 1.4 billion Chinese of “freedom of belief, freedom of speech, freedom from fear, and freedom from want,” and will continue to lead the persecution of Falun Gong; the Party has led Hong Kong for 22 years, turning the once brilliant “Pearl of the Orient” into darkness, and still plans to continue shattering the “Pearl of the Orient”; from 1949 to 1978, the Party led socialism for 30 years and brought China’s economy to the brink of collapse; from 1979 to 2019, the Party led “reform and opening up” for 40 years and again brought China’s economy to the brink of collapse; the Party will continue to control all areas of the economy and stifle all innovative vitality; the Party has led the regime for 70 years; looking around the world, the CCP’s enemies are everywhere, and the Party will continue to go against the historical tide of freedom and democracy.

To put it most simply, upholding the Party’s leadership means continuing on a path to self-destruction.

Why say the Fourth Plenum will accelerate the CCP’s collapse?

Falun Gong practitioners believe in and revere the divine, and conduct themselves according to “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance”—which brings countless benefits to the nation and the people and not a single harm. Yet the CCP has continuously persecuted Falun Gong for 20 years and still persecutes it with insane cruelty. The aforementioned case of the Siping City police in Jilin Province arresting an entire family of nine in a single day is a concrete manifestation of the CCP’s end-times madness.

“Not believing in the divine; falsehood, evil, and struggle”—these six words are the essence of the CCP and the crux of all problems in China today.

The Fourth Plenum still defends that godless Party, is still full of empty, grandiose, and hollow rhetoric, is still “ill-intentioned” toward the people, and still puts the word “struggle” first!

Traditional Chinese culture teaches: “People act, Heaven watches,” “Man’s plans are not as good as Heaven’s plans,” and “Act in accordance with Heaven, and Heaven will aid you.” This “Heaven” refers to the divine.

The CCP does not believe in the divine and does not revere the divine; it does not believe that when committing evil deeds, Heaven sees clearly. It fears neither Heaven nor Earth and dares to commit any atrocity.

Amid the outbreak of the U.S.–China trade war and the CCP facing a comprehensive crisis, the CCP not only fails to introspect but instead frantically destroys Chinese people’s faith in the divine.

On February 2, the world’s tallest cliff-carved Guanyin statue, located in Pingshan County, Hebei Province, had its upper body blasted to pieces; a few days later, to prevent the statue’s reconstruction, its lower body was completely blown up! Since then, reports of various absurd acts of destroying Buddhist statues across the country have emerged one after another.

An indignant Buddhist said: “They tear down Buddha statues, destroy scriptures, and force monastics to return to secular life—this is now on par with the Cultural Revolution. Where is the freedom of belief?” “The Communist Party is afraid that if everyone believes in Buddha, no one will believe in the Party.”

The CCP’s “falsehood, evil, and struggle” manifests in every field of its domestic and foreign policy.

One example: when the Fourth Plenum talked about Hong Kong, it proposed to “establish and improve the legal system and enforcement mechanisms for safeguarding national security in the special administrative region.” This targets the so-called “Hong Kong independence.”

“Hong Kong independence” is itself a pseudo-proposition. The vast majority of Hongkongers have not raised the issue of “independence for Hong Kong”; this is not the mainstream public opinion in Hong Kong.

Since the outbreak of the anti–extradition bill movement, the CCP has constantly hyped the topic of “Hong Kong independence” to create a pretext for violent suppression. The Fourth Plenum’s proposed remedy will only intensify contradictions in Hong Kong.

It is especially worth pointing out that the CCP is the true culprit of “splitting China” and “endangering national security.”

On November 7, 1931, when Japan had occupied China’s three northeastern provinces and the nation faced calamity, the CCP established a “state within a state” in Ruijin, Jiangxi—the Chinese Soviet Republic. Article 14 of the Constitution of the Chinese Soviet Republic stipulated: “It recognizes the right of national self-determination for minority nationalities within China, including the right of all weak nationalities to separate from China and form independent states.”

Since December 9, 1999, CCP dictator Jiang Zemin unconditionally ceded Chinese territory equivalent to more than 40 Taiwans to Russia and other countries. Not a single Party cell, branch, general branch, leading group, or Party committee within the CCP uttered a single “no” to this monstrous crime of “splitting China” and “endangering national security”!

As the descendants of Marx and Lenin, the CCP not only does not love China, the Chinese people, or Chinese culture, but is also the world’s largest traitorous party!

In 2004, under the pretext of “safeguarding national security,” the CCP pushed for the enactment of Article 23 legislation in Hong Kong, leading to 500,000 people taking to the streets, and in the end, it had to withdraw it; this year, the CCP forcibly pushed the “extradition bill” in Hong Kong, leading to 2 million people taking to the streets, and in the end, it had to withdraw it.

At present, the Hong Kong crisis has no solution, and the CCP’s Fourth Plenum has proposed another stupid move. Does the CCP intend to ram through Article 23 legislation again in Hong Kong? Will the CCP not be satisfied until it torments Hong Kong into a “dead harbor”?

Throughout history, when a dynasty approaches its end, it is invariably beyond cure, with no remedy and no one able to reverse the tide; it can only slide along the inertia of history toward death.

So it is with the CCP. In 2019, the CCP has become the most corrupt political party in the world. The 57 “upholds” of the CCP’s Fourth Plenum all run counter to the will of Heaven.

If it continues to “uphold” in this way, the CCP will become the enemy of the global forces of justice and will ultimately be completely eradicated.
