Why Does Trump Favour Russia

[People News] Viewed from space, Earth appears as a dim blue dot. Astronomers remind us, "Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On that dot, every one of you loves, every one you know, every person you've heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived their lives."

Every war, every act of human self-destruction, and every vibrant life lost has taken place on this dim blue dot. All the love and hate, all territorial disputes, are encapsulated within this blue dot. It is so insignificant in the vast universe, and throughout the long course of history, all gains and losses are like fleeting flashes of light on dust; who will remember them?

Friends, regardless of how many troubles you face, on a clear night, look up at the starry sky and consider that nearly any twinkling star is larger than the sun; if they had Earth, we wouldn't even be able to see them. In that moment, you can grasp your own insignificance, the impermanence of worldly matters, and the fragility and brevity of life. Perhaps you will find clarity and come to cherish the present even more.

Until recently, Ukraine generally prohibited men aged 18 to 60 from leaving the country, as they needed to be prepared to enlist at any moment. Recently, the law was amended to allow men over 60 to join the military. Not to mention that the number of men in Ukraine is already declining, this trend is becoming increasingly apparent. Ukraine has a surplus of women compared to men. If the war continues, Ukraine will not only face the risk of national extinction but may also confront the threat of ethnic annihilation.

Yan'an served as Mao Zedong's stronghold. In 1947, in an effort to conserve his forces, Mao advised retreating if necessary, but over a year later, he returned to fight. An old saying states: if you preserve people but lose land, both will endure; if you preserve land but lose people, both will be lost. The principle is simple: if you cannot win, you must retreat. If all the men are dead, even if the land is reclaimed, the people and culture are gone, which signifies the true annihilation of a nation. The situation in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mirrors this: while the Chinese people and land remain, their culture, beliefs, and the hearts of the people have been ravaged by the Communist regime, leaving the cultural essence of China on the verge of collapse. To grasp the essence of true Chinese traditional culture, one should attend the performances of Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Judaism, Christianity, and Buddhism are all considered orthodox religions that historically have had the power to guide individuals to the heavenly kingdom. God is merciful and would never permit humanity to engage in mutual destruction. In ancient times, without the means of writing, religious teachings were often passed down orally, which could lead to misunderstandings. People tend to favour teachings they find appealing and comprehensible, while those they do not understand or dislike may be disregarded or even labelled as apocryphal. This issue is also present in both Christianity and Buddhism.

The Code of Hammurabi from ancient Babylon and the Book of Deuteronomy in the Old Testament both express similar sentiments of 'an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.' In contrast, Jesus taught to 'love your enemies.' Traditional Jews rejected this teaching, leading to the crucifixion of Jesus, a Jewish figure, as a heretic. For nearly two thousand years, Jews have faced displacement, and it was only in the last century that they reestablished their nation in Israel. Could this not be seen as a form of atonement for the sin of killing Jesus? Is it not a manifestation of 'an eye for an eye' upon themselves? Thus, is it not biased to focus solely on the slaughter of Jews during World War II while neglecting their role in the death of Jesus and his disciples?

In the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Russia is the aggressor, while Ukraine is the victim. However, if we take a broader view, Russia has accused Ukraine of systematically exterminating Russian culture in Eastern Ukraine, which does have some validity. Additionally, the Ukrainian government has been implicated in the corruption involving the Biden family, a fact that has come to light. Looking back a few more years, for approximately 20 years following the dissolution of the Soviet Union and even up to the present, Ukraine has supplied a significant amount of high technology to the People's Republic of China, including military and space technology. Without Ukraine's support, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would not have achieved its current capabilities with the Shenzhou spacecraft and aircraft carrier fleet. Russia has long been aware of the CCP's ambitions and methods of theft, remaining cautious. When the CCP sends delegations to Ukraine to procure weapons, the most straightforward route would be to transfer in Moscow; however, in practice, they often take longer routes through other European countries to avoid alerting Russia.

Here's an interesting anecdote. At one point, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organised a military exhibition, during which Ukraine or Russia shipped a batch of weapons to participate in the event and sales, with an agreement that they would not be disassembled. However, the CCP ignored this commitment; they held the exhibition during the day and disassembled the weapons at night to take photographs, intending to reverse engineer them. They planned to reassemble everything before the exhibition the next day, believing they could do so without anyone noticing. Unfortunately, one night they were unable to put everything back together, and the next day they were caught by foreign observers, with the marks they made during disassembly still visible.

Ukraine's actions have inadvertently strengthened the CCP in the technology, military, and aerospace sectors, effectively extending the CCP's lifespan and causing more Chinese citizens to suffer as they become victims of exploitation. How should we account for this?

The CCP is currently the largest threat and danger in the world. American experts have long asserted that the global stage is dominated by the three powers of the US, China, and Russia; these three nations dictate the terms, while others are merely followers. For the welfare of the global population, the best strategy is for the US and Russia to unite against China; the middle ground is for the US, China, and Russia to engage in mutual conflict; and the least favourable strategy is for China and Russia to ally against the US.

Human calculations cannot match the will of heaven. Trump is a man, not a deity; he is prone to mistakes and misjudgments. Nevertheless, the outcome will ultimately align with what is destined. Whether Trump shows favouritism towards Russia or whether Rubio is not involved in discussions is are secondary concern. What truly matters is how each individual's thoughts and actions either suppress or support the CCP, as this will determine their future.

There are concerns that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) may conclude that it can confidently use military force to unify Taiwan, believing that the United States will abandon the island. The CCP is the number one enemy of the United States. The humiliation faced by Ukraine does not pose a threat to American interests. However, a failure in Taiwan would directly affect America's core interests, especially in the age of AI, where Taiwan acts as a semiconductor hub and an unsinkable aircraft carrier in the first island chain, making it impossible for the CCP to take it without resistance.

Putin is anti-communist; he embodies the aspirations of a great power czar, seeking to restore the former glory of the Russian Empire. Russia threatens Europe, not the United States. In reality, Europe is reluctant to send troops or spend money; it prefers to remain behind the United States and quietly profit. It is time for Europeans to take responsibility for their own defence and become self-sufficient.

Some argue that the 28 articles will undermine the United States' moral authority as the world's police and big brother, leading to a situation where no one listens to America anymore. The U.S. has coddled Europe, resulting in NATO member states not heeding American advice. Currently, few countries meet the military spending targets. The spread of communist ideology in Europe is not what the U.S. desires, at least not what Trump envisioned.

If the CCP is eliminated, the world can coexist peacefully, which is a positive outcome. Europe fears invasion; it should focus on arming itself. As a U.S. taxpayer, I hope that American funds are directed towards the welfare of the American people. My neighbours are predominantly middle-class and white, and in our conversations, we share this sentiment; many even oppose the U.S. acting as the world's police.

Being a police officer is acceptable, but the key is to be strong. If one is weak and its citizens are struggling, how can they effectively serve as a strong and capable police force?

Thus, weapons cannot be provided to Ukraine without compensation. Assisting Ukraine must bring some returns; after all, even the landlord's household has no extra grain.
