[People News] The case surrounding Yu Menglong is filled with uncertainties. As more details come to light, it increasingly appears that a powerful group may be involved in his victimisation. Recently, a new video surfaced online, allegedly capturing 11 gunshots at the scene of the incident in Yangguang Shangdong Community on the night Yu Menglong was killed.

Earlier reports indicated that at least 4 residents, including 1 man and 3 women, witnessed the attack on Yu Menglong as they passed by. They attempted to intervene, but the assailant did not spare them either. The recent video purportedly shows 11 gunshots in the Yangguang Shangdong Community on the night of the incident, with flashes of fire also visible.

Some netizens commented, 'It's no surprise that insiders claimed 11 residents of the community died that night; the security guards were just for show, and the public security was ineffective,' and 'In this terrifying country, who can truly govern it? Hearing this is heart-wrenching. (Does each shot signify a lost life?) It's cruel and heartless.'

Earlier reports indicated that on the night of Yu Menglong's incident, there was a significant disturbance in the Yangguang Shangdong community. Loud shouts from the assailant, along with sounds of abuse and beatings, could be heard from the brightly lit house at the crime scene, accompanied by Yu Menglong's cries. The noise was so intense that many neighbours could hear it from a distance. Emergency vehicles, including ambulances and police cars, as well as armed officers, arrived at the scene, and some images even showed Bi Bo, the Party Secretary and Director of the Chaoyang Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, present at the crime scene.

Recent reports suggest that the perpetrators were afraid Yu Menglong would escape, prompting them to place an electronic ankle monitor on him for an extended period. Some photos revealed that while Yu Menglong was live-streaming, the assailants had installed a stun device under the collar of his shirt. Fans expressed their sorrow, saying, 'If he says something wrong, will he be electrocuted immediately? Menglong, what kind of pain have you endured...'

In the three months since Yu Menglong's death, numerous images and videos have emerged online, showing that he frequently suffered slaps, beatings, and starvation at the hands of Du Qiang. Many images clearly depict Yu Menglong's bruised face and blackened fingertips; there are also suspicions that he was bound half-naked, had his ears cut, and was subjected to an electronic ankle monitor. The perpetrators treated Yu Menglong as a serious criminal. It appears that his life and death are entangled with certain powerful groups or influential figures, further confirming that he was treated as a sacrificial offering by those who could 'cover the sky with one hand,' seeking to take away his luck and lifespan.
