Eight Companies Performing Simultaneously — An Unprecedented Spectacle
Since its founding in New York in 2006, Shen Yun Performing Arts has grown over 20 years into eight performing companies along with eight orchestras.
As in previous years, Shen Yun’s eight companies will tour globally during the 2026 season, lasting nearly five months. The spectacular sight of eight companies performing on the same day, as seen in past Shen Yun seasons, will also occur repeatedly this season. For example, on January 4, the eight companies will perform simultaneously in eight cities: Austin, Dallas, and San Francisco in the United States; Birmingham in the United Kingdom; Toulon in France; Turin in Italy; Riga, the capital of Latvia; and Taoyuan, Taiwan.
On January 24, the eight companies will simultaneously present 14 performances, expected to attract nearly 30,000 audience members. On that day, there will be four performances in Texas and California in the United States; eight performances in the European arts capitals of Paris, Milan, Vienna, and Woking in the Greater London metropolitan area; and two performances in Chiayi, Taiwan—an unprecedented spectacle.
Tickets Sold Out in Many Cities Worldwide
During the 2026 season, Shen Yun will present at least 99 performances in 15 cities across France, with total ticket numbers reaching 250,000. According to Shen Yun’s French presenter, tickets in nine French cities had already sold out by the end of November, including six performances in Paris in January. It is expected that by December 18, ticket sales in other French cities will also reach full capacity. In addition, ticket sales for France’s 2027 season are already underway, with 15,000 tickets sold to date. In Rouen, one company purchased 490 Shen Yun tickets for 2027 in a single transaction. It is expected that in 2027, Shen Yun will perform in at least 17 French cities, with a total of 125 performances and more than 320,000 tickets.
In Italy, tickets in five cities have also sold out, including: three performances in late January in the southern city of Bari, which sold out in November; four performances in the northeastern city of Udine, also sold out in November; and performances in three other cities—Livorno, Ancona, and Avellino—all sold out. As tickets in Rome sold out three months in advance last year, this year the number of performances in Rome has increased from six to nine.
According to statistics as of December 10, tickets for the three performances scheduled for January 24–25 in Woking, in the Greater London metropolitan area of the United Kingdom, have reached 99.9% sold.
Arts Elites Sing High Praise
Through dance and musical arts, Shen Yun recreates China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture, integrating ancient wisdom, mythological stories, and pure goodness and beauty into every performance, inspiring audiences’ hearts and earning widespread acclaim and glowing reviews.
On April 8, 2025, former principal dancer of the Metropolitan Opera, Frank Dellapolla, said after watching a Shen Yun performance at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York: “These dancers are able to display such consistent precision and beauty in every performance—I deeply admire that. The entire performance is not only a visual feast, but also an artistic statement of great depth and meaning.”
On April 21, 2025, Marie Lindqvist, recipient of the Royal Medal of Literature and Arts of Sweden and former principal ballerina of the Royal Swedish Opera, said: “The dancers’ precision cannot be praised enough—it’s truly incredible! You can see that behind this are countless hours of hard work. Everyone’s movements are smooth and natural, precisely unified, looking so effortless. This is the same pursuit as in classical ballet—everything should flow like drifting clouds and running water. It’s simply marvelous!”
On April 25, 2025, Hollywood film music producer Phil Lober praised Shen Yun as “the world’s number one Chinese show.” He said: “The blending of Eastern and Western instruments is extremely ingenious. This is something many musicians have tried but failed to achieve. Pairing the pipa with the oboe, the erhu with the violin—the harmonic variations that result are truly captivating.”
Renowned Hollywood producer Tony Dody flew specially from Hollywood to Florida to see Shen Yun. On the evening of March 19, 2025, after watching the performance in West Palm Beach, he said: “As the saying goes, seeing once is better than hearing a hundred times—this perfectly fits tonight’s Shen Yun performance. When any art performance can both educate and entertain, and elevate the audience’s spiritual realm, that art is destined to endure forever. The chaos in today’s society can be depressing. But tonight, after watching Shen Yun, audiences are invigorated and once again filled with hope for the world. People see that there is still a group of individuals persisting in doing what is right, persisting in promoting the good and beautiful side of human nature, even though they themselves endure persecution, yet remain unyielding. I sincerely hope everyone can see this—this is the most radiant light of humanity.”
