[People News] In late June, two news stories that captured global attention emerged from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. One involved a plane crashing into a 'statue' high-rise building located in the heart of the CCP's power near Zhongnanhai, while the other was the announcement from the U.S. that it would reveal the hidden wealth of 'Xi Yizun' and other Standing Committee members. Although these two stories may seem unrelated, they detonated like bombs in the hearts of the elite in Zhongnanhai, reigniting discussions about the CCP's anti-corruption image and the legitimacy of its regime. Thus, the combination of these two events warrants attention.
Reports indicate that the 'China Zun' (CITIC Tower, a 108-story building) was involved in a light aircraft collision incident, which the CCP has classified as a 'terrorist event.' Speculation suggests that the small plane piloted by a CITIC executive may have been targeting Zhongnanhai. After flying two circles around the Second Ring Road and failing to locate its intended destination, the plane crashed into the 83rd floor of the CITIC Tower, which houses the headquarters of CITIC Securities.
Prominent political scholar Liu Junning shared on the X platform, stating, 'A friend sent this: it has been classified as a terrorist attack, and they conducted a raid yesterday... it was a CITIC executive. She crossed the civil aviation takeoff and landing routes, circled around the Second Ring Road twice, possibly unable to find the place she intended to go... Commentator Tang Jingyuan believes that, based on the leaks, the plane was likely headed towards Zhongnanhai, possibly intending to crash into Xi Jinping's office or significant buildings such as the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall at Tiananmen Square.
This situation evokes memories of the 9/11 attacks in the United States over 20 years ago. However, it was quickly established that the attacks were orchestrated by the terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, and subsequently, it was revealed that bin Laden's organization maintained a friendly and close relationship with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Now, a smaller-scale version of the 9/11 incident has occurred near Zhongnanhai, where even sky lanterns are prohibited from flying. The reasons behind this incident, as well as the personnel involved and the operational details, remain undisclosed by the CCP, whether due to reluctance or fear, which is indeed quite dramatic.
It is noteworthy that when the 9/11 attacks occurred, the brainwashed citizens of the CCP, including the so-called 'pinkies', celebrated and cheered, seemingly releasing years of pent-up frustration. In contrast, after the 'China Zun' of China Citic was struck, Americans and the global Chinese community expressed concern over casualties and the nature of the incident itself, hoping to mitigate the disaster. Why do people from different countries react differently to the same airplane crashing into a skyscraper? This disparity arises because the citizens of the CCP have been subjected to long-term brainwashing by the CCP's anti-human and violent values, resulting in a distortion of their human nature and a loss of moral integrity. This distorted human nature is now turning against the CCP regime.
Some argue that the airplane crashing into the 'China Zun' symbolizes the awakening of the Chinese elite class in their resistance against the CCP. Others suggest that China Citic had recently faced a hefty fine, and the department managed by this executive was experiencing business losses, compounded by the economic downturn in the CCP, unfavorable market conditions, and significant pressure on executives, which may have prompted this act of loyalty. Regardless of the reasons, the harmful consequences of the CCP's violent and oppressive system, which damages both the nation and its people, are becoming increasingly evident.
In contrast, the reactions of Chinese citizens and the American and global Chinese community to another recent piece of news concerning the senior leadership of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are remarkably different. This news pertains to the American intelligence agencies' plan to publicly reveal the hidden wealth of Xi Jinping and the 25 members of the Central Political Bureau, including all members of the Standing Committee. The global audience is watching this development with keen interest, viewing the U.S. action as a means to express the frustrations of the Chinese people, and they are applauding it, eager to uncover the extent of the unclear and unaccounted wealth possessed by the CCP leaders, who frequently tout their anti-corruption efforts. Conversely, the response from citizens in CCP-controlled China has been notably 'quiet,' marked by indifference or apathy. This reaction can be attributed in part to the CCP's internet censorship, which restricts access to information for the Chinese populace. Additionally, many citizens have been influenced by the CCP's long-standing propaganda, which instills the belief that 'American imperialist forces are always intent on undermining us.' As a result, they perceive the U.S. claims as exaggerated, view it as meddling in matters that do not concern them, and thus lack enthusiasm, either due to their focus on daily survival or a sense of detachment. These attitudes reflect the consequences of the CCP's prolonged authoritarian rule and indoctrination.
Media reports indicate that the hidden wealth of senior CCP leaders in the U.S. amounts to billions of dollars, and if the concealed wealth of the 25 members of the Central Political Bureau is included, the total would be significantly higher. This wealth is primarily acquired through intermediaries and is held by family members of the Standing Committee members to obscure the identities of these leaders. If this information is made public by the United States, it would directly undermine the superficial anti-corruption image of the CCP leaders and expose the hypocrisy of their claims regarding legislation and law enforcement for the public good, which is likely to draw considerable attention from some citizens of CCP-controlled China.
The report, which is expected to be submitted by the end of this year, will reveal "non-public information related to the wealth of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leadership" and provide evidence of the physical and financial assets that these leaders directly or indirectly own or control. The investigation will cover a significant amount of real estate both within China and abroad, including neighboring Hong Kong and Macau.
Paul Berkowitz, a China expert who worked as a congressional aide and dealt with Asian affairs on Capitol Hill for 31 years, remarked, "If the Chinese people were to learn just how wealthy their leaders are, it would deliver a devastating blow to the CCP."
According to the latest internal report from the CCP, the confirmed amounts of corruption, bribery, and illegal income within the party that were seized last year reached 800 billion yuan (RMB), with over 300 billion yuan in illicit funds still being pursued. Insiders disclosed that during the review process, indirect connections to 'fish that slipped through the net' were revealed, with their numbers exceeding those of the directly implicated corrupt officials by more than 60%! Many of these corrupt officials have their properties held in the names of relatives and friends, and they maintain substantial secret deposits in banks located in Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia.
The year 2026 is poised to be a challenging one for the CCP. Even before reaching the halfway point of the year, a series of unfortunate events has unfolded. The incident of a plane crashing into a 'statue' is already considered an inauspicious event, which could be interpreted as a symbol or omen. Additionally, the upcoming disclosure of the hidden wealth of numerous high-ranking officials from Zhongnanhai may signal a turning point in the CCP's decline. As the second half of the year approaches, what astonishing news might emerge? Those who are concerned about the CCP's oppressive regime and its potential downfall should remain vigilant.
