Why Does the Chinese Communist Party Fear May 13?

[People's Daily News] The annual observance of May 13 has arrived once again. In recent days, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been actively harassing, monitoring, house-arresting, and even kidnapping Falun Gong practitioners across the mainland. The persecution has even extended to Southeast Asia and other countries that have been heavily infiltrated by the CCP. This is because May 13 marks World Falun Dafa Day, during which Falun Gong practitioners around the globe hold various celebratory events. The CCP is not intimidated by Europe and the United States, nor does it fear atomic bombs; however, it is deeply afraid of Falun Gong. This fear stems from the fact that Falun Gong understands the origins of the CCP, its true nature, and the purpose of its existence in the world. As early as 1999, Jiang Zemin, who was then the General Secretary of the CCP, recognised that the CCP's rise to power was not honourable and that its regime lacked legitimacy. He was acutely aware that he ascended to power over the bloodshed of the June Fourth student movement. As a public enemy of the people, he speculated with a criminal mindset that Falun Gong could threaten the CCP's power and regime. Consequently, he declared, 'Eliminate Falun Gong within three months.'

What is Falun Gong? Why do over a hundred million people continue to practice it despite enduring brutal persecution for 25 years? The answer is quite simple: through cultivation, individuals can achieve good health, correct their shortcomings, enhance their moral character, and return to their true selves. When one maintains integrity, they become immune to all poisons. A healthy body and mind possess strong immunity against various natural disasters or epidemics, leading to a promising future. Anyone can choose to practice or not; there is no membership system, no organisational agenda, and individuals are responsible for their own choices and consequences. No one will force anyone to participate.

Why does the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) engage in persecution? The answer lies in its inherent animosity towards deities and humanity, stemming from its atheistic ideology. Since its founding, the Party has declared, 'Smash the old world, liberate the whole world, and rule all of humanity...' It is misleading to label the CCP as purely atheistic; after reaching adulthood, Marx was known to practice Satanism. The Party's ambition to create a 'heaven on earth' and the oaths taken by members upon joining are both rooted in theistic beliefs. Throughout history, from Mao Zedong to Jiang Zemin and Xi Jinping, Party leaders have engaged in practices such as fortune-telling, worshipping Buddha, and ensuring good feng shui, showcasing a continuous trend. The CCP's state media often labels fallen high-ranking officials as 'Party demons' and 'national monsters'...

In truth, the Communist Party's ultimate goal is the destruction of humanity. How do they plan to accomplish this? Historically, they have resorted to ideals, ideologies, and violent revolutions to instil fear, dismantle traditional culture, and corrupt human nature. Over the past fifty years, they have sought to degrade moral standards through indulgence, power, wealth, and the jungle principle, undermining the very rules of human existence. In the East, they employ slaughter and the pursuit of fame and fortune; in the West, they promote modern deviant ideologies and anti-human living orders that dehumanise individuals, stripping them of moral conscience and justice, ultimately leading to natural and man-made disasters that threaten humanity.

We can see that the current wave of terrorism and regional unrest around the world—including the Russia-Ukraine war, North Korea's missile tests, the Taiwan Strait crisis, the South China Sea conflicts, and the recent tensions between India and Pakistan—are all influenced by the shadow of the Communist Party. The CCP aims to create global chaos to distract advanced civilised nations in Europe and America, diverting their focus and constraints on its actions.

The Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners is historically unprecedented in its cruelty, involving beatings, electric shocks, rape, forced injections of drugs that harm the central nervous system, sleep deprivation, confinement in mental hospitals, organ harvesting, and live biochemical weapon experiments. Many individuals who have found new life through their practice have died as a result of this persecution. What remains unclear to many is why, if the CCP claims that practitioners will self-immolate in Tiananmen Square, they would go to such lengths and expense to imprison and beat them to death.

Falun Gong practitioners are hardworking contributors to society, many of whom seek to improve their health due to various ailments. In the later stages of the CCP's rule, numerous rumours were spread about them, one of which is particularly misleading: that practising Falun Gong prevents individuals from seeking medical treatment, and that the Creator can save them. In reality, many practitioners have achieved good health through their practice and therefore do not need medical care, ultimately saving healthcare costs for the country and society. Falun Gong has never claimed that one should avoid hospitals when ill; rather, it encourages individuals who believe they are sick to seek medical attention early, as serious illnesses can become difficult to treat. Regarding the Creator, Falun Gong practitioners believe that at the beginning of the universe, all things embody the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance, and that aligning one's life with these principles and returning to one's true nature is the essence of liberation from worldly entanglements.

The book 'The Devil Rules Our World' aptly describes communism as not merely an ideology or a doctrine, nor a failed attempt in humanity's quest for solutions. Rather, it is depicted as a devil, referred to as the communist evil spirit, which is made up of hatred and various corrupt elements from the lower realms of the universe. Initially, it took the form of a snake, but in the upper realm, it manifests as a red dragon. This entity aligns itself with Satan, who despises the true God, and employs various low spirits and demons to create chaos among humanity. The ultimate aim of this evil spirit is to annihilate humanity, leading individuals to reject belief in God at the critical juncture when God returns to save all beings. It seeks to corrupt morals to the extent that people abandon God and tradition, rendering them incapable of understanding divine teachings, which ultimately results in their downfall.

The disinformation propagated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) can indeed mislead many people globally. Without a serious and in-depth understanding of the truth, many issues cannot be clarified in just a few words. Consequently, some small nations that have been compromised or infiltrated by CCP interests may sacrifice their national laws and dignity for short-term gains, denying legal registration to Falun Gong practitioners and branding them as illegal organisations and gatherings. In reality, Falun Gong practitioners are simply urging the CCP to cease its persecution and share the benefits they have gained from their practice. They can gather and disperse freely at any time and place, and there are no specific regulations governing their organisation or gatherings. Registering as a society is merely a way to comply with social norms, and there are no actual bylaws, fees, or systems associated with such societies. Countries that have been infiltrated by the CCP fail to investigate the malevolence and crimes of the CCP that lead to global chaos, do not support justice, and do not prevent the CCP from committing acts that threaten the future. Instead, they criticise Falun Gong for their 'minor gatherings,' which they may come to regret in the near future. After all, according to their logic, if a family of three goes out for a morning jog, it could also be classified as a gathering and result in arrests. Will such a country have a future?

Since 1999, during the initial seven years of Jiang Zemin's and the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) sudden crackdown on Falun Gong, practitioners have been appealing and writing letters to warn that such actions would inflict fatal harm on both China and humanity. Nevertheless, the CCP has persisted in its persecution and violence. In reality, the political corruption, moral decline, mutual harm among individuals, indiscriminate random killings, economic downturn, and frequent natural and man-made disasters currently plaguing mainland China are all linked to the CCP's wrongdoing. Unless the CCP ceases its persecution of Falun Gong, these disasters cannot be resolved. In China, there is essentially no nation, no government—only the Communist Party. The Party claims to govern everything and has indeed monopolised all aspects of life in China. The so-called state and government institutions, such as the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, serve merely as smoke screens to obscure the reality of one-party rule.

Since 2006, following the publication of 'Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' by The Epoch Times, a nationwide movement to withdraw from the Party has gained momentum. This is indeed the most effective way to dismantle the CCP without cost or bloodshed. While the CCP can threaten humanity with atomic bombs, it cannot capture souls from evil. When people turn away from the CCP, the Party loses its very essence and ceases to exist.

From the above, it is clear that Falun Gong seeks to save people, whereas the CCP seeks to destroy them. The CCP's hatred for Falun Gong stems from its awareness that its goal of annihilating humanity has been thwarted, and it is precisely due to its ongoing evil persecution that it faces the ultimate reckoning from a higher power.

With the arrival of May 13 once more, it is disheartening to witness the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) relentlessly engaging in legal and propaganda campaigns worldwide to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. I earnestly urge those who have compromised their lives for the CCP: your existence originates from a beautiful world. You were not born as the 'animal ancestors' that the Communist Party curses; do not resort to animalistic behaviour in your persecution of spiritual practitioners.
