On November 2, a parade was held in the Chinese community of Seoul, South Korea, celebrating that more than 450 million Chinese people have renounced their memberships in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. Hundreds of participants joined the event.
[People News] Recently, to commemorate the milestone of “450 million Chinese quitting the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers” (collectively known as the Three Withdrawals), a large-scale parade was held near the Chinese residential area in Seoul, South Korea. The event aimed to inform local Koreans and Chinese residents about the movement and drew significant public attention.
According to The Dajiyuan Korea Bureau, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, published on November 19, 2004, by The Dajiyuan, triggered a global wave of withdrawals from the CCP. As of the day of the event, more than 453 million people had learned about the CCP’s evil nature and joined the movement.
Many Chinese, even those living abroad for years, still have limited understanding of the Three Withdrawals and the persecution faced by Falun Gong practitioners. For this reason, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea chose to hold the event in Daerim-dong, Seoul’s largest Chinese community, using banners written in both simplified Chinese and Korean to help Chinese residents learn the truth.
Organizers: “We Wish Safety and Happiness for All Who Have Withdrawn”
Oh Se-ryeol, Secretary-General of the Korea Falun Dafa Association, delivered a speech at the rally:“The Three Withdrawals movement is not merely a political statement but a choice of conscience—a spiritual awakening toward freedom. We stand firmly on the side of justice and truth and fully support the Chinese people’s courageous movement to reclaim their freedom.”
He also said that the persecution of Falun Gong is not only a domestic issue within China but an act of state terrorism spreading internationally, including into South Korea: “Korea’s freedom and democracy are increasingly threatened by the CCP’s propaganda and infiltration. We strongly condemn the CCP’s crimes against humanity and firmly oppose its influence operations in Korea.”
Parade Highlights: “Heaven Will Destroy the CCP,” “Patriotism ≠ Loving the Party”
That afternoon, under Seoul police escort, the parade set off along a two-kilometer route. Passersby stopped to watch and take photos of banners reading “Heaven Will Destroy the CCP,” “Patriotism ≠ Loving the Party; China ≠ the CCP,” and “Withdrawing Brings Blessings.”
Zhao Longcan (phonetic), head of Korea’s Tuidang (Quit the CCP) Center, said:“We’re not here to oppose anyone or create disruption. We simply want to tell the truth. We harbor no hatred—we sincerely wish for people to leave the Communist Party and find true happiness and peace.”
He noted that the number of withdrawals has surged recently:“Now, many Chinese tourists come to Korea and quit the CCP together. In Daerim-dong alone, the number is very high. We truly congratulate and thank them, wishing that they, as true Chinese people, will find safety and happiness.”
Zhao added that over the past three years, the center’s main campaign has been “End CCP.”“We explain to Korean citizens why the Communist Party must end. Many Koreans agree and have signed in support. The number of signatures now exceeds 2 million. We hope that once the CCP ends, a new China will be born.”
Korean Citizens: “We Support the Chinese People’s Pursuit of Freedom”
Several Korean citizens watching the parade shared their views.
Lee Ryang-seon (phonetic) said:“The Communist Party must disappear—it doesn’t serve all the people, only its own officials and elites. The word communism sounds good—‘sharing and living together’—but in reality, it exploits innocent workers.”
A 19-year-old high school student, Lim Jun-seok (phonetic), said he hopes all Chinese people can also enjoy democracy and freedom, “to live happily without oppression, like in Korea.”
Wen Rui (phonetic), a Chinese-language independent media host participating in the event, remarked that since the pandemic, more Chinese people have awakened to the CCP’s evil nature and decided to completely sever ties through the Three Withdrawals:“It’s a peaceful but powerful statement: we’re telling the CCP, ‘No—we won’t follow you.’ China’s economy is worsening, people’s lives are getting harder, and more will see the CCP for what it is and withdraw.”
He added a message for both those who have already withdrawn and those who haven’t:“To those who already quit—you are brave. You’re not just doing it for yourselves but for others across China and even the world. For those who haven’t yet, I say this: the CCP seems fearsome, but it’s not. Recognize its true nature, find your courage, and withdraw as soon as possible.”
