The CCP’s Large-Scale Arresting of Falun Gong Practitioners Highlights Its Fear

[People News] After the CCP’s 26-year-long persecution of Falun Gong, a series of malignant incidents involving large-scale arrestings of Falun Gong practitioners have recently occurred again in mainland China. Analysts believe that the CCP is increasingly fearful that its own regime is unstable; therefore repression will continue to grow, especially the suppression of Falun Gong practitioners who dare to expose the CCP’s lies. Meanwhile, the voices of support from U.S. political figures for Falun Gong show that this is a battle between righteousness and evil, and any person with a conscience will stand on the side of Falun Gong.

Multiple recent large-scale arrestings of Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China

According to a report by Minghui.org, within just two days from November 2 to 3, police in Yinchuan, Ningxia conducted a large-scale raid on Falun Gong practitioners’ homes, and illegally arrested 32 practitioners and 4 of their family members or neighbors.

On September 29, Jinan police in Shandong used the excuse of “maintaining stability for the October 1st holiday” and arrested people according to a list, illegally arresting more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners, including an elderly person in their 90s.

Around the time of the CCP’s September 3 military parade, police in Shenyang, Liaoning arrested at least 43 Falun Gong practitioners, including two in their 80s and three in their 70s.

On August 20, police in Mengyin, Shandong used cellphone tracking and positioning to locate more than ten practitioners and then illegally arrested them.

These are only some of the large-scale arresting incidents of Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China that overseas sources have recently learned about.

Analysis: The CCP fears its own regime is unstable

Wu Shaoping, head of the overseas “China Human Rights Lawyers Group,” told The Dajiyuan that the CCP regime always has an “insecurity fear” regarding its rule and always needs to find an “enemy.”

“With the economy continuing to decline, government finances beginning to collapse, unemployment everywhere, unfinished buildings and debt crises, many social contradictions have accumulated. It knows its regime is increasingly unsafe, so it is beginning to suppress society comprehensively,” Wu said. “Now the CCP is continuously increasing repression against Falun Gong, which in fact is the CCP further tightening control over society in a state of fear and insecurity about its own regime.”

According to Minghui.org statistics, during September and October this year, the known situation is as follows: at least 482 people in mainland China were arrested, 369 were harassed, 243 had their homes raided, 3 were forced into displacement, 27 were held in brainwashing centers, and 24 were forcibly blood-drawn; the CCP also robbed or extorted at least 754,100 yuan of Falun Gong practitioners’ pension funds.

Over these two months, at least 75 practitioners were illegally sentenced by the CCP, with cases occurring in 17 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.

Jiang Pinchao, editor-in-chief of The June Fourth Poetry Collection and president of U.S.-based Cofa Property Investment, believes that as China’s economy worsens and social conflicts intensify, incidents of the CCP cracking down on Falun Gong may increase.

“The CCP’s suppression of these believers is impossible to relax. The more the economy is in crisis and its rule in decline, the more it will suppress and persecute these people,” he said. Because Falun Gong teaches “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” and practitioners are “altruists,” while the CCP is “egoistic,” “this is an irreconcilable conflict in essence and nature.”

Analysis: Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to ‘clarify the truth’ and ‘persuade people to quit the CCP’ undermine the CCP’s strategy of ruling through lies

According to Minghui.org, on September 20, three elderly women in Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang (one in her 70s and two in their 80s) were arrested and had their homes raided by the local police station because they had put up “truth-clarification stickers” in the city.

Jiang Pinchao said that because Falun Gong practitioners expose the CCP’s “black history” to the world, this causes a “subversive challenge” to the legitimacy of the CCP regime. “If ordinary people, especially the younger generation, come to know these truths, they will question the regime, they will impact the regime. This is what the CCP fears the most, so it is desperate to suppress them—defaming Falun Gong practitioners and then persecuting them on the basis of that defamation.”

Wu Shaoping believes that practitioners’ “truth-clarification” efforts “deconstruct the CCP’s strategy of ruling through lies.”

“The Falun Gong group not only exists with remarkable resilience inside China, but is also widely recognized around the world. As a Chinese spiritual belief group, the scale and number of practitioners are very large,” he said. This makes the CCP “extremely fearful,” so the CCP tries to maintain the “security of its regime” by strengthening its suppression of Falun Gong.

During the “truth-clarification” process, practitioners have also promoted the wave of “three withdrawals,” which encourage Chinese people, once they understand the truth of persecution of Falun Gong abd see the nature of the CCP, to withdraw in thought from the CCP’s Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers. For safety, they may use pseudonyms or nicknames to complete the “three withdrawals.”

According to the Global Quit-the-CCP Service Center, more than 450 million Chinese people have now chosen to “quit the CCP.”

Wu Shaoping said, “The Young Pioneers, Communist Youth League, and CCP membership are extremely important foundational pillars of CCP rule, very important in society, and also essential for talent selection within its ruling machine.”

He believes that people who understand the nature of the CCP, and “dare to declare their withdrawal from these Party, League, and Team organizations—that is essentially a ‘farewell and separation’ from the CCP from within their hearts, and manifested in action by quitting the Party, League, and Young Pioneers. This is in fact a very effective blow to the CCP’s ruling foundation.”

Jiang Pinchao said that Falun Gong practitioners are “a group of warriors,” who dare to reveal the truth and expose the harm the CCP regime has caused the country, and this is “worthy of the world’s admiration.”

Analysis: Any person with a conscience will stand on the side of Falun Gong

Regarding the recent large-scale arresting of Falun Gong practitioners, U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley told The Dajiyuan that “the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners is extremely unfortunate,” and that the United States must “apply pressure on the CCP at all levels” to ensure religious freedom and basic rights for Falun Gong practitioners and other believers in China.

Piero Tozzi, Deputy Staff Director of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC), also said that the CCP is a “totalitarian regime” that “wants to control people’s thoughts,” so the persecution of Falun Gong and other faith groups is “extremely severe,” and “the CCP represses its own people and also threatens global order.”

Jiang Pinchao told The Dajiyuan that for humanity to stand in this world, it must insist on justice, truth, and conscience, and only on this foundation of universal values can humanity stand firm.

He said there is a Chinese saying: “Those who follow the Dao are supported; those who lose the Dao receive little support.” “So U.S. political figures standing up for Falun Gong practitioners in Congress and before the people of the world, striving for the rights of practitioners—this is an act of justice,” and “any person with a conscience will stand on the side of Falun Gong practitioners.”

Wu Shaoping stated that the Falun Gong belief “is beneficial to human society,” and that Falun Gong groups have received support and recognition from many countries. “U.S. political figures calling for justice on behalf of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners is in fact the righteous forces confronting the evil forces—this is a confrontation between good and evil, a war between righteousness and evil.”

He also emphasized that religious belief is one of the fundamental human rights in modern civilized society, and the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong “is not only a violation of human rights, but also an offense against the divine.” Having committed crimes against the divine, the CCP “will face divine punishment and bear the consequences of its evil deeds.”

“The ultimate evil consequences caused by the CCP, I believe, will surely bring about the collapse of this regime sooner rather than later, because it has accumulated too many sins,” Wu said.
