[People News] Recently, Hangzhou Daily reported that Ou Chaochao, a 34-year-old food delivery worker in Yiwu, Zhejiang, suffered cardiac arrest on January 15 and was declared brain dead after being sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. With the consent of his parents, his seven organs and two corneas were donated and successfully transplanted into nine people. Wang Zhiyuan, chairman of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), told The Dajiyuan that this report contains serious falsehoods and is intended to cover up the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes of live organ harvesting and deceive the public.

The “World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong” (full name: “World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong”) has, through nearly twenty years of systematic investigation, obtained a large amount of conclusive evidence confirming that the Chinese Communist Party is a criminal regime that engages in large-scale live organ harvesting and profits enormously from it. Drawing on the organization’s abundant investigative resources and experience, Wang Zhiyuan pointed out that mainland media reports on Ou Chaochao’s “organ donation” conceal the two most important links: the organs’ warm ischemia time and tissue matching.

Serious doubts exist regarding warm ischemia time

Wang Zhiyuan pointed out that according to the Hangzhou Daily report, Ou Chaochao was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment in the early morning after sudden cardiac arrest. Under such circumstances, his organs actually could no longer be used, because the warm ischemia time of the organs would already have been exceeded.

From a medical perspective, warm ischemia time is the key to whether an organ can be transplanted. The period from when blood supply to an organ stops until it is cold-preserved is called warm ischemia time. The shorter this period, the better. The warm ischemia time for a heart is usually 3 to 4 minutes, for a liver 5 to 8 minutes, and for a kidney no more than 30 minutes.

“If these organs exceed their required warm ischemia time, then they are just a piece of flesh and simply cannot be used for transplantation,” Wang Zhiyuan said.

The media reported that “Ou Chaochao was rushed to the hospital after sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest,” which shows that when his heart problem occurred, he was not in the hospital. But where Ou Chaochao suffered the incident, who discovered him, how he was sent to the hospital, how long it took, and so on are not mentioned at all in the report. Yet this process is a very crucial link.

Wang Zhiyuan analyzed that whether Ou Chaochao collapsed during a food delivery run in the early morning or at home, the moment his heart stopped meant that his organs no longer had blood supply, and from that moment the warm ischemia time had to be counted. Then after someone discovered in the early morning that something had happened to Ou Chaochao, an ambulance had to be called, he had to be sent to the hospital, and emergency treatment had to be carried out. Would that time not far exceed the warm ischemia time?

Hangzhou Daily said that the Zhejiang Red Cross confirmed that the hospital removed one heart, one liver, two kidneys, one lung, one section of small intestine, and other organs from Ou Chaochao’s body, totaling seven organs, as well as two corneas, and that all transplant surgeries were successfully completed on January 21.

Wang Zhiyuan said that if what the media said — that “all the organ transplants were successful” — is true, then there is only one possibility: Ou Chaochao’s organs were live-harvested. Only in that way could the warm ischemia time of his organs have been guaranteed.

Then the media report about Ou Chaochao’s “cardiac arrest” cannot be true. Therefore, one possible scenario cannot be ruled out: he was sent to the hospital for treatment because of fainting, injury, or sudden illness, was then “made brain dead,” and then had his organs live-harvested.

Regarding this phenomenon of being “made brain dead,” Wang Zhiyuan mentioned Luo Shuaiyu. Luo Shuaiyu, an intern doctor in the transplant department of Xiangya Second Hospital of Central South University, died mysteriously after falling from a building. From Luo Shuaiyu’s computer and mobile phone, his father recovered a large amount of documents and recordings that Luo had collected over three years exposing the hospital’s dark内幕 of organ removal.

The materials collected by Luo Shuaiyu revealed a secret routine of “illegal organ transplantation” at Xiangya Second Hospital: after a patient entered the emergency department, the patient had already been internally designated as “brain dead,” and then the organs were removed. The emergency department was in fact a “morgue.”

In its report, Hangzhou Daily did not mention at all which hospital Ou Chaochao was sent to for emergency treatment, nor which doctor performed the organ removal surgery. Was this intentional?

As of October 2023, through nearly twenty years of investigation, WOIPFG had publicly released 866 investigative audio recordings as evidence and more than 4,000 documentary pieces of evidence. These detailed investigations prove that in mainland China, 891 organ transplant hospitals (transplant centers) and 9,519 transplant physicians are suspected of participating in live organ harvesting. The names of these hospitals and doctors have been published online.

WOIPFG’s investigative report also shows that since the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, the large-scale live harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners’ organs has continued to this day. With the industrialization of the organ transplant industry, organs are in short supply, and Chinese Communist Party transplant hospitals and doctors have extended the targets of live organ harvesting to ordinary Chinese people, such as in the sensational “Hu Xinyu middle school campus disappearance case,” and in the frequent appearance of brain-dead “patients” in hospitals.

Serious doubts also exist regarding organ matching

Wang Zhiyuan said that before organ transplantation, matching is undoubtedly required. The media said Ou Chaochao’s organs saved nine people, which means that Ou Chaochao’s organs were successfully matched with them. Ou Chaochao was rushed to the hospital on the 15th after cardiac and respiratory arrest, and after a day of unsuccessful emergency treatment, he was declared brain dead. On January 16, after his parents rushed to the hospital from their hometown in Hunan, they agreed, after persuasion from the hospital, to donate their son’s organs. By the 20th, the organs had been successfully transplanted into nine people. This entire process took only three days.

During that time, it would still have been necessary to use organ matching to screen out nine suitable recipients, in addition to doctors removing the organs, transporting them into place, and then successfully carrying out transplant surgeries. Every link in that process requires time. For a hospital to complete such a process in so short a time is truly not easy. More importantly, it is unlikely that the data needed for matching with Ou Chaochao could have been obtained in such a short period of time. So how could the hospital have succeeded in carrying out the transplants?

Wang Zhiyuan said that Ou Chaochao’s organs were donated by decision of his parents, which shows that he had not voluntarily agreed to donate his organs while alive. So how could the hospital have obtained his data? Was his data stolen when he underwent a hospital physical examination or treatment while alive? Were his death and organ donation part of a planned sudden incident?

These two points of doubt alone show that the media report is seriously distorted. Wang Zhiyuan said this was done intentionally in order to cover up the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes of live organ harvesting.

The Chinese Communist Party is doing everything possible to cover up the truth about live organ harvesting

Using Ou Chaochao’s “brain death” and organ donation, Hangzhou Daily used highly emotional language to encourage people to donate organs, saying that “donors and their family members are heroes who benefit society.” Wang Zhiyuan said that this kind of propaganda is actually a trick, creating a false impression that there are many “heroes” donating organs in China, and therefore the transplant industry is developing rapidly, thus covering up the Chinese Communist Party’s evil of live organ harvesting.

After the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners were exposed in 2006, the Party loudly admitted that it systematically used organs from executed prisoners in order to evade accusations from the international community. Beginning in 2010, the Chinese Communist Party launched pilot organ donation programs in ten cities. After achieving no real results, on January 1, 2015, the Chinese Communist Party announced that it would stop using organs from executed prisoners and would use only organs donated by citizens.

However, in traditional Chinese beliefs, the deceased should be buried with the body intact. Family members of the deceased also believe that bodily incompleteness is disrespectful to the dead, so there are very few people willing to donate organs.

From January 2015 until now, WOIPFG has conducted telephone investigations into all qualified hospitals in mainland China and some citizen organ donation agencies. The results show that there are very few people donating organs, and only a handful of donations are actually completed.

From August to September 2018, WOIPFG again carried out a comprehensive telephone investigation of the municipal- and district-level human organ donation offices under the Beijing Red Cross system. The result was: the Beijing Red Cross Organ Donation Office had still been in the preparatory stage for many years.

The capital, Beijing, is the city with the largest number of organ transplant hospitals in China. In the list of 178 organ transplant hospitals announced by China’s National Health and Family Planning Commission on February 11, 2018, Beijing alone accounted for 23, with the largest volume of organ transplants. For example, Peking University People’s Hospital boasted that it completed more than 4,000 liver and kidney transplants a year — and that is just one hospital. The Chinese Communist Party officially claims that “voluntary donation by Chinese citizens is the only legal source of donor organs for human organ transplantation.” Then where, exactly, do so many transplant organs in Beijing come from every year? Are their sources legal?

The Chinese Communist Party publicly reports 10,000 to 20,000 organ transplants each year (already a severely reduced figure), while the number of organ donations is far from sufficient to meet that transplant volume. So what then? WOIPFG’s answer is: “This could only be carried out under conditions in which there exists a living organ donor bank with stable quality, large numbers of people, secret detention, and availability on demand. Falun Gong practitioners are the principal component of the Chinese Communist Party’s living organ donor bank within the live organ harvesting industry chain.”

Wang Zhiyuan said, “The Chinese Communist Party’s so-called ‘citizen organ donation’ is a monstrous lie.” He reminded ordinary Chinese people not to believe the lies and deception of Chinese Communist Party media. The Party’s black hand of live organ harvesting has long since reached ordinary people, and everyone is in danger.

A 2017 report by China News Service said that 8 million people go missing in China every year. A 2013 report by China National Radio said, “About 200,000 children go missing in China every year, and only 0.1% are successfully recovered.”

The mainland website “Seeking Relatives Network,” a public-interest site established in 2000 to help find missing family members, was suddenly shut down on July 15, 2025. People questioned whether it had to be closed because the number of missing persons was increasing and related information online would affect social stability.

In 2005, the Chinese Communist Party secretly launched the “981 Leaders’ Health Project,” which included a longevity project for leaders to live to 150 years old. On September 3, 2025, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin discussed the topic of organ transplantation while ascending Tiananmen Gate Tower to watch the military parade, and Xi said that “people can live to 150 years old.” How many fresh, young, healthy organs would leaders need to be continuously transplanted with in order to live to 150?

At present, a movement to donate organs has been launched in schools across China, and schools are secretly drawing students’ blood. Parents are extremely terrified after learning this, because from time to time there are reports from schools of middle school students “suddenly dying” or “going missing.”

There are also online videos showing unlicensed 120 “ambulances” appearing on the streets. Some traffic police have hinted that these “ambulances” are fake and are specially used to snatch people for organ removal, and that orders have come down from above not to investigate them because they are used to serve high-ranking officials.

There is no end to such strange incidents, and the more one thinks about them, the more terrifying they become. “Since Jiang Zemin ordered the large-scale live harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners’ organs in 1999, it has destroyed the moral bottom line of Chinese society, destroyed the judicial system, and cultivated a group of killing devils. People now see only money and no longer see human beings,” Wang Zhiyuan said.
