July 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday there were 2,318 confirmed cases of measles in the country so far this year.
Of the total, 2,302 cases were reported by 45 jurisdictions and 16 were reported among international visitors to the U.S., the agency said.
For the full year of 2025, a total of 2,289 confirmed measles cases were reported.
There have been 35 new outbreaks reported in 2026.
