[People News] The global petition to "Eliminate the Demon Chinese Communist Party" (End CCP), launched by the Global Tuidang (Quit the CCP) Centre in June 2020, is approaching a historic milestone. As of May 15, 2025, the global petition has reached 4.81 million signatures and is rapidly approaching 5 million.
The End CCP campaign began in June 2020, amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, which originated in Wuhan, China, in late 2019. At the time, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was widely accused of lies, coverups, and concealment, leading to global devastation. Cities locked down, economies halted, and millions became infected or died. In the midst of this catastrophe, the Global Tuidang Centre declared the virus to be the "CCP virus" and called the CCP the true culprit behind the pandemic. They urged people worldwide to reject and help eliminate the CCP.
To raise global awareness and help people of all backgrounds recognise and reject the CCP, the Global Tuidang Centre launched a petition in 16 languages through EndCCP.com, which has since expanded to nearly 40 language versions.
Dr. Wang Zhiyuan, Chairman of the Global Tuidang Center, said: “Rejecting the CCP and eradicating the communist evil spirit is a common desire of the world. The CCP is not a normal political party—it’s a terrorist organisation, a demon. It doesn’t just persecute Chinese people—it’s the enemy of the entire world. End CCP is a way for people in the West to express their awakening and rejection of evil. It's a movement for all of humanity to end the CCP's reign of terror. Taking down the CCP is both a human responsibility and a source of hope.”
The End CCP petition declares: “CCP Lied, People Died,” pointing to the global harm inflicted by the Chinese Communist Party. The petition lists the CCP’s historical crimes against humanity, including: The Cultural Revolution’s decade-long devastation; Endless political campaigns; The Great Leap Forward famine, which killed 30–50 million people; The One-Child Policy resulted in 400 million aborted babies; The 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre; The persecution of Falun Gong, including forced organ harvesting; Oppression of Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hongkongers, Christians, Buddhists, and all religious believers. At the same time, the CCP demands to be worshipped as the only god, blocks information with its Great Firewall, exports communist ideology globally, and poisons the Chinese people with lies.
The petition emphasises: “Evil does not restrain itself, nor does it stop on its own. Remaining silent in the face of tyranny only enables more crimes. Everyone who values justice and human dignity has a responsibility to demand the disintegration of the CCP and to help eliminate this evil force.”
Widespread Support Across Ethnicities and Nations
The End CCP petition received an overwhelming global response. People from all backgrounds, speaking many languages, have signed and left messages daily.
Volunteers have worked tirelessly to spread the message through various means. In New York, for example, volunteers organised regular End CCP motorcades and collected signatures at subway stations, parks, plazas, beaches, tourist spots, and shopping areas. They also leveraged social media, independent media, and online platforms.
Volunteer Xu Jinghua noted: “When people hear the word ‘communist,’ they instinctively react with disgust. Often, just seeing the phrase ‘Disintegrate the Evil CCP’ on a signboard is enough for them to sign without hesitation. People already know in their hearts what’s right and wrong. Signing the petition just gives them a chance to express it. Wherever we go, there’s support.”
She added: “Disbanding the CCP is a shared human desire, long suppressed but now awakened. In a nation like the U.S., made up of people from all ethnicities, we’ve found many groups who’ve personally suffered under communism.”
The Global Tuidang Centre organised a coast-to-coast End CCP motorcade campaign. The first vehicle convoy began in New York in February 2020. By September 2021, the campaign had expanded into a six-season, nationwide roadshow involving over 100 vehicles.
The United States is a “nation on wheels,” and the End CCP motorcades, with their grand and powerful presence, have spread the message to eliminate the Chinese Communist Party across highways and landmarks throughout the country. These moving “Walls of Truth” carried bold and piercing slogans such as: “The CCP is the true origin of the virus”, “Stay away from the CCP, stay away from the pandemic”, “Reject the CCP, reject the CCP virus”, “CCP lied, people died”, “Communism puts everyone in danger”. These messages travelled the nation, awakening public awareness.
Along the way, the motorcades received widespread support and encouragement. Many tourists and local residents were deeply moved when they saw the convoys. In addition to signing the petition, some joined the events, held banners, and chanted “End CCP!” alongside the volunteers. People who saw the convoys on the road called the Tuidang Centre to express their surprise and gratitude—some even asked to join the motorcade. Many onlookers took photos and shared them on social media, helping the movement gain even more momentum.
From September 2021 to November 2024, over a three-year period, the End CCP motorcade completed six nationwide tours across the United States. More than 100 vehicles participated, each outfitted with banners and boards promoting the End CCP message. The convoys travelled through all 50 U.S. states, reaching as far as Alaska, Hawaii, and Key West, Florida, the southernmost point of the U.S. mainland. The endless highways of America became a vast stage for volunteers to spread the truth. In Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah, the motorcade was even welcomed by state representative Kay J. Christofferson.
The End CCP petition has received widespread support, with the number of signatures steadily increasing. One year after the initiative was launched, the petition surpassed 1 million signatures on June 5, 2021. Less than a year later, by March 2022, it had exceeded 2 million. By May 2023, the count had reached 3.5 million, and over the next two years, it gained another 2 million signatures. It is now on the verge of surpassing 5 million.
