[People News] During the Chinese Communist Party’s Fourth Plenary Session, a video generated by artificial intelligence (AI) has gone viral across Chinese-speaking communities worldwide. The short film depicts a “New China after the fall of the CCP,” showing symbolic scenes such as citizens freely voting, political cases being re-tried, and the removal of Mao Zedong’s portrait from Tiananmen Square.
In the video, the host of a program titled Shanghai Mayoral Election discusses the education and medical rights of migrant workers, while footage shows long lines of voters outside polling stations, with people smiling and saying, “The line’s moving pretty fast.”
Online reactions have been overwhelmingly emotional and enthusiastic:
-
“So satisfying to watch! I wish it were real!”
-
“This is the true ‘Chinese Dream’!”
-
“Freedom is the most precious value of life.”
-
“When the Chinese people unite with one heart, they will surely defeat the Communist demon!”
-
“Never underestimate the power of a video like this!”
Analysts point out that this “AI New China fever” is not only a case of viral creativity but also a reflection of the deep collective subconscious desire among Chinese people for a free future.

Coinciding with this wave of online enthusiasm is a sharp rise in the CCP withdrawal movement. According to statistics from the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, as of October 22, 2025, the total number of Chinese people who have published statements declaring their withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations (the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers) has reached 453,413,799 (over 453 million), setting a new historical record.
Data from the Service Center show:
-
From January to September 2025, a total of 11,663,064 people withdrew.
-
In May, the monthly total peaked at 14,045,939.
-
On September 13, a single-day record was set at 49,465 withdrawals.
-
From January to September, the number of verified “real-name withdrawal certificates” increased 34.2% year-over-year.
-
By the end of September 2025, the cumulative total reached 452,581,562.
This means that over 450 million Chinese people have publicly severed ties with the CCP—making it one of the largest grassroots movements of moral and spiritual awakening in human history.
From Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to a New Era of Awakening
The two-decade-long wave of withdrawals began in late 2004 with the publication of The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party by The Dajiyuan.
On January 12, 2005, The Dajiyuan issued a solemn Declaration, a historic call to the Chinese people:“The end of the Communist Party is near… Heaven will punish this demon. All who have joined the Party or its organizations should withdraw immediately and erase the mark of evil. When the day of reckoning comes for this cult, The Dajiyuan’ records will stand as testimony for those who withdrew.”
The declaration urged citizens to seize “the fleeting opportunity” to repent and save themselves before divine retribution arrives. This became the spiritual origin of today’s “Three Withdrawals Movement” (quitting the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers). Now, young netizens are continuing this awakening in new ways.
The society depicted in the AI film — “A New China without the CCP” — is no longer just a political slogan, but a symbol of freedom, rule of law, justice, and human dignity.
Echoes of History: Faith, Repentance, and Retribution
In its latest statement, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP declared that the signs of the CCP’s demise are becoming increasingly evident, and that retribution will soon follow for those who “stand with evil.”
The statement reads: “When the CCP disappears through divine retribution, those who have done evil alongside it will also face consequences. Before the truth is fully revealed and divine judgment arrives, there is still a chance for repentance. Seize the opportunity to join the wave of withdrawals.”
The movement to quit the CCP is not a political stance but a moral self-rescue movement, echoing the spiritual transformation seen in societies before the collapse of other totalitarian regimes — from fear to reflection, from blind obedience to resistance.
Commentary: Igniting the “Imagination of Freedom”
This AI-generated “New China” video represents an eruption of the collective subconscious of Chinese netizens, challenging the CCP’s monopoly over history and reality.
In the interplay between language and imagery across the Great Firewall, this technology-driven imagination of freedom has become the most uncontrollable force against the CCP’s rule.
In the past, the CCP used its “propaganda machine” to shape reality. Now, this AI video lets the people imagine and create their own future. When 450 million have already quit the Party in reality, and hundreds of millions more are watching the vision of “a China without the CCP,” perhaps that future has already begun.
The Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP concluded:“Heaven’s justice is vast, and good and evil are clear; the sea of suffering has a shore, and life and death hinge on one thought. Every Chinese person who withdraws from the CCP leaves a mark of conscience for themselves and for the future of China.”
