[People News] On the morning of October 30, Xi Jinping, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, arrived in Busan, South Korea, to hold the long-awaited 'Trump-Xi Meeting' for the first time in six years. The Korean public greeted Xi with chants of 'Xi Jinping OUT' and banners declaring 'Heavenly destruction of the CCP'.

As reported by Xinhua News Agency, Xi landed at Gimhae International Airport in Busan at 9:45 AM. He is set to attend the 32nd informal leaders' meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and conduct a state visit to South Korea.

CCTV news has reported that the Trump-Xi meeting has officially commenced. The meeting is taking place at Gimhae International Airport, where Xi has arrived for his state visit, while Trump is wrapping up his visit and preparing to depart. The two leaders are meeting on the sidelines of the APEC summit.

This marks the first in-person meeting between Trump and Xi since the beginning of Trump's second term. Their last encounter was during the G20 summit in June 2019. Discussions are expected to focus on key areas of contention, including tariffs, rare earths, agricultural product procurement, and TikTok, with potential announcements of outcomes from their talks. However, experts suggest that, given the long-standing competitive structural relationship between the two nations, significant 'breakthrough progress' is unlikely, particularly regarding the Taiwan issue.

According to the Liberty Times, a significant police presence has been deployed outside the South Korean Air Force's 5th Air Mobility Wing since early this morning (October 30), with officers stationed at intersections and overpasses.

In front of the Fifth Airborne Mobility Flight Group, three South Korean anti-China protesters drove a truck to stage a protest, waving American flags and shouting slogans like 'CCP OUT' and 'Xi Jinping OUT.' They left the scene in their vehicle following police announcements.

Outside the APEC venue, in front of the new Silla Bell, over a hundred anti-China demonstrators gathered, displaying banners with messages such as 'Heavenly Punishment for the CCP,' 'Stop Stealing the Country,' and 'Korea Belongs to Koreans,' while waving both South Korean and American flags.

A protester named Choi expressed in an interview that their gathering aimed to convey their demand that the Chinese Communist Party should not enter South Korea. They believe that South Korea is a free nation founded on democratic principles, whereas China is not a democratic country. They hope to use this opportunity to inform the government about the dangers and issues posed by the CCP.

When discussing Taiwan, he mentioned that since both Taiwan and South Korea are free and democratic nations, he hopes to strengthen the relationship between Taiwan and South Korea.

The protest site saw a large turnout of anti-China demonstrators engaging in a symbolic 'Korean-style protest,' with a band providing drum accompaniment, resulting in a relatively relaxed atmosphere for the demonstration.
