Will China Be Turned Upside Down in 2026?
[People News] After passing through the turmoil of 2025, we are stepping into 2026. In 2025, China’s politics, economy, and society were all rife with chaos. Yet amid the disorder, new changes were being nurtured—namely, the awakening and resistance of the people. How should 2025 be summed up? What changes will China see in 2026? And amid the tide of historic upheaval, how should one respond? The renowned British psychic prophet Craig Parker has brought us profound insights.
As the bell of 2026 rings, 2025 has become the past. How can China’s year 2025 be described with a single representative character?
According to a report by Taiwan’s Radio Taiwan International, independent commentator Cai Shenkun said that generals of the PLA were all being dealt with, China’s economy continued to decline, and international relations were thrown into disorder by the CCP. China–U.S. relations had never been as chaotic as this year—ranging from the fentanyl issue to dumping goods at low prices—all of which disrupted the existing international geopolitical order. China–Japan relations also fell into a state of confusion. Therefore, he chose the character “chaos” to represent China in 2025.
U.S.-based economist Li Hengqing analyzed that there is no hope in sight for China’s economic prospects, with no sign of recovery. The incomes of most Chinese people are declining, and the assets of the middle class in particular have shrunk sharply. The return of 350 million migrant workers to their hometowns will lead to systemic, large-scale re-impoverishment and will form a strong factor of social instability. Li Hengqing pointed out that the chaos in China in 2025 caused enormous shocks across all sectors and contained a sense that “mountains will collapse and the earth will split,” so he chose the character “quake” as the representative word.
U.S.-based current-affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan stated that major changes occurred in the CCP political situation this year, and that CCP party chief Xi Jinping’s power has run into serious problems. On the other hand, recent CCP anti-Japanese propaganda has no longer been echoed by the public as before, and unexpectedly there has been large-scale opposition, indicating a major change in public sentiment.
Tang Jingyuan also believes that the Yu Menglong incident was the fuse: many young Chinese groups awakened in the process of speaking out for him and realized that CCP elites do not regard ordinary people as human beings. Therefore, his representative word for 2025 is “change.”
Zhou Fengsuo, executive director of “Human Rights in China,” selected the character “tower” as the representative word for 2025. He pointed out that China itself is a tower-shaped society: a small number of those in power are at the top, while the majority are at the bottom. The CCP relies on “power,” “lies,” and “fear” to maintain the entire social structure.
Even under strict surveillance, this year some courageous and aspiring people “charged the tower” in resistance, using very obvious yet implicit ways to mock the political system and ridicule Xi Jinping. Zhou Fengsuo said that the tower built by the CCP has never had legitimacy; now it is becoming increasingly hollow and shaky. As more dissatisfaction emerges among the people, this “great tower-charging movement” will have enormous explosive potential in 2026.
Hong Kong residents who experienced the century-defining fire at Tai Po’s Hong Fuk Court chose the words “burn,” “bereavement,” “trapped,” “end,” and “goodness” to sketch Hong Kong’s collective emotions in 2025.
So what earth-shaking changes will China experience in 2026? Parker, the psychic prophet hailed as the “modern Nostradamus,” presents to us a breathtaking future.
As a prophet who once accurately predicted Trump’s election, Brexit, and the global pandemic, Parker’s vision goes beyond single events. He defines 2026 as the most critical “turning year” in human history. The core chapters of his prophecies all point to the fate of the Chinese Communist Party. Parker describes it as a “glacial collapse”—initially slow cracks, followed by an irreversible, thunderous collapse.
Parker sees the CCP’s control weakening in 2026, with changes—and even revolutions—beginning to appear across China. The modern democratic society advocated by Sun Yat-sen will ultimately emerge in China.
In fact, Parker said similar things at the end of 2024. Tracing back his previous prophecies, in November 2023 he spoke of serious problems with Xi Jinping’s health, which the CCP government was concealing. From 2024 to 2025, there were indeed continual rumors that Xi had suffered a stroke or similar issues. In his latest prophecy in November 2025, Parker even boldly predicted that Xi Jinping might undergo an organ transplant in 2026 to prolong life and power. Parker also said that in 2026 a high-ranking official in the CCP military or security apparatus would suddenly be arrested and then die mysteriously, which he speculated might be related to plotting a coup.
Parker also mentioned that as early as November 2023, he saw a major fire in Hong Kong, concentrated in several buildings. At that time, he speculated that the fire might have been deliberately set or might have concealed political motives. This should refer to the Hong Kong Hong Fuk Court fire that occurred on November 26, 2025. Parker’s 2023 prophecy did not specify the timing of the fire. At the time, audiences generally believed he was hinting it would happen in 2024, but it actually occurred in 2025, one year later than predicted. Nevertheless, the disaster largely matched what he described at the time.
Parker believes the Hong Kong fire has symbolic meaning, foreshadowing Xi Jinping’s decline and some major change that will occur in Hong Kong’s future. Parker speculates that such a change may come in 2026, when Hong Kong people may once again launch a revolutionary action similar to the “anti-extradition” movement.
Parker said that for many years, the CCP has used large sums of money to bribe political and business figures in Western countries. At the same time, high-ranking CCP officials have continuously transferred family-accumulated wealth to other countries. These operations have already been obtained by hackers and are very likely to be exposed in 2026, becoming a scandal that will shock the world. Parker also spoke about relations among China, India, the United States, and Russia in 2026. He predicted that China–Russia relations would gradually drift apart; as India rises step by step, India and the United States will expand cooperation, and the CCP’s attempts to divide the West will not succeed.
In addition, the “economic miracle” the CCP built over the past several decades on debt and environmental sacrifice will, Parker predicts, completely collapse in 2026. A real estate crash, local government debt defaults, foreign capital withdrawal, and unemployment rates as high as 30%–40% will create countless desperate “rat people.” Once the governing legitimacy established through economic development is lost, the foundation of the CCP regime will be uprooted.
Parker foresees that after the collapse of the CCP regime, China will not immediately move toward grand unification, but instead enter a “fragmented” state. It may become something akin to a federal system: provinces and cities may move toward autonomy, forming a situation similar to warlord division during the Republican era or a federated autonomy. The developed eastern coastal regions will be the first to embrace freedom and democracy and integrate with the West, while the west and interior may temporarily retain conservative forces. As China falls into the chaos of a transition period, India and Vietnam will rise to become new centers of Asian manufacturing.
At the end of his prophecies, Parker paints a hopeful future. He emphasizes that the CCP is not only a regime, but also an “evil spirit” that attempts to destroy human divinity and the earth’s ecology. With the smashing of the shackles of materialism and communism, the Chinese people will usher in an unprecedented spiritual awakening, and faith will be reborn on this land. After enduring growing pains, a new democratic model will emerge in China’s future.
The year 2026 is destined to be a year of shock and upheaval. From the fires of geopolitical conflict to the collapse of authoritarian walls, humanity will search for new directions amid chaos. As Parker puts it: “This collapse is not destruction, but rebirth.” For everyone caught in the tide of historic transformation, how can one pass through safely? Parker says: maintain kindness and return to traditional faith—this is the only ark.
