The CCP’s Transnational Repression Incites Hatred—Australia Should Legislate to Stop It

[People News] Recently, the Australian government decided to bring Parliament back two weeks early to introduce new laws to combat hate crimes, in response to the terror attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Liberal legal scholar Yuan Hongbing said in an exclusive interview with The Dajiyuan that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is also the mastermind behind international terrorist organizations. He said the CCP is openly inciting hatred and carrying out transnational repression in the Western world, including Australia, and he called on the Australian government to legislate to stop the spread of the CCP’s state terrorism in Australia.

The CCP Incites Hatred During the Chinese New Year in Australia

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently announced that in response to last month’s Bondi terror attack in Sydney, Parliament would reconvene early on January 19 for a two-day emergency session to deliberate and pass legislation targeting hate speech and extremism, among other issues—two weeks earlier than originally scheduled.

On December 14 last year, at around 6:40 p.m., two terrorist gunmen used rifles and shotguns to indiscriminately fire into a crowd, killing 15 innocent people and injuring more than 40, including several children and two police officers. This was Australia’s most serious modern mass shooting and terrorist attack, shocking the nation.

Yuan Hongbing said in a recent exclusive interview with The Dajiyuan: “The painful lesson of the Bondi Beach incident should sound an alarm for the Australian government. In fact, even before the Bondi Beach tragedy occurred, the cultural group founded by Falun Gong—the Shen Yun Performing Arts—during its performances in Australia and elsewhere, as well as Falun Gong practitioners’ activities exposing the CCP’s tyranny, had already been subjected to repeated terrorist threats from the CCP.”

On January 2, the CCP Consulate General in Sydney published a so-called statement on its website, slandering the world-renowned Shen Yun Performing Arts, which is scheduled to perform in multiple locations across Australia in 2026, urging Australians not to watch the performances, and viciously attacking the local Falun Gong groups that host them.

Yuan Hongbing believes that “this statement viciously attacking Shen Yun performances in fact also constitutes a crude interference in Australia’s internal affairs.”

“The statement smears Shen Yun Performing Arts, founded by Falun Gong groups, as anti-China forces. But in fact, from both history and reality we can clearly see that it is the CCP’s tyranny that is the most evil anti-China force in China’s thousands of years of history; it can also be said that the CCP’s tyranny is the most evil traitorous, nation-selling clique.”

He emphasized that the essence of the CCP is a political mafia group dominated by the communist specter described by Marx in The Communist Manifesto. “For more than seventy years since the CCP’s seizure of power, there has been a basic evil main line—using the evil Communist culture created by Marx to carry out cultural genocide against the various ethnic groups on the East Asian continent. The first to be annihilated was China’s traditional culture, the culture of Huaxia.”

He further analyzed that during the Cultural Revolution led by Mao Zedong, the remains of the founders of Chinese characters, the tomb of the ancient great Yu the Great, and the grave of Confucius were all desecrated and exhumed; it can be said that the CCP’s tyranny is the chief culprit in the annihilation of Chinese culture.

In its statement, the CCP claims to represent Chinese culture. Yuan Hongbing said, “Now the CCP’s tyranny is again deceiving the world by stealing names—under the banner of reviving China, it is in fact reviving evil international communism.”

After watching a Shen Yun performance last year, Yuan Hongbing said that Shen Yun is not merely a cultural performance; it is part of a great epic of reviving Chinese civilization.

He also pointed out that the CCP’s statement smears Falun Gong as an anti-scientific cult, “but in fact it is the CCP’s tyranny that is anti-human rights, anti-freedom, and anti-democracy—a political mafia and political cult organization. This is the basic definition of the CCP’s tyranny widely recognized by free and democratic countries in today’s international community.”

Yuan Hongbing said with sorrow that Australia, such a safe land, has now also been invaded by international terrorism. The recent Bondi Beach terrorist attack is one example.

He further believed that “if, earlier on, the CCP’s state-terrorist rhetoric and actions that Falun Gong practitioners encountered while telling the truth and exposing the CCP’s tyranny had received a high level of attention from the Australian government, and if corresponding legislative measures and law-enforcement actions had been taken to prevent them, perhaps the Bondi Beach tragedy could have been prevented.”

In March last year, the Falun Dafa Information Center released an investigative report titled The CCP Takes Unprecedented Actions—Attempting to Sabotage Shen Yun and Eliminate Falun Gong Globally, detailing the CCP’s long-standing transnational repression of Falun Gong practitioners overseas, which was forcefully advanced over the past year, launching a comprehensive crackdown by using mainstream U.S. media as weapons and leveraging the U.S. judicial system in an attempt to achieve its goals.

The CCP’s Tyranny Is a Supporter and Mastermind of International Terrorism

Yuan Hongbing stated that since Xi Jinping came to power, the CCP’s tyranny has promoted communist totalitarianism worldwide through initiatives such as the Belt and Road. The most evil aspect, he said, is that the CCP’s tyranny has now formed an evil alliance with international terrorism.

“The CCP has formed a contemporary axis-of-evil alliance with Iran, the source of international terrorism. At the same time, the CCP’s tyranny is also the supporter of a series of international terrorist forces such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi armed forces in Yemen.”

Recently, President Trump captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife and brought them to the United States for trial.

Yuan Hongbing said, “Maduro is the CCP’s die-hard ally in South America. A series of the CCP’s global expansion of international communism, as well as the role the CCP’s tyranny plays as the chief backstage force of international terrorism, all show that the CCP is the common enemy of contemporary humanity and also the enemy of Australia.”

Yuan Hongbing said that the CCP’s tyranny is now not only the most important supporter and mastermind behind contemporary international terrorism, but is also directly carrying out transnational repression and terrorist threats overseas—including in Western democratic countries such as Australia—against Falun Gong groups and Shen Yun Performing Arts organizations.

Yuan Hongbing called on the Australian government to make clear through a series of legislative actions that “Australia stands on the side of the camp of free and democratic countries led by the United States. The Australian government should, through its own legislative actions, prove that it is capable of protecting the Australian people from the threats of international terrorism and from the threats of cross-border repression and persecution by the CCP’s tyranny, this political mafia.”

The CCP Is Beset by Internal and External Crises and Carries Out Transnational Repression Under Fear

In addition to the CCP’s statement inciting hateful rhetoric, Dr. Zhao, president of the Australian Falun Dafa Association, also told The Dajiyuan about a series of recent transnational repression actions by the CCP, such as the concentrated destruction and disappearance of Shen Yun performance posters across Australian communities.

And last November, a local church in Sydney and local Falun Gong practitioners jointly planned to screen the film State Organs. The organizers received a threatening letter stating that if they dared to show the film, bombs would be planted and a mass shooting carried out that day. For the safety of church members, the church had no choice but to cancel the screening of the film exposing the CCP’s live organ harvesting.

There were also cases in which the parents of Shen Yun performers in Australia were threatened by police from Shenzhen, and had their contact with relatives and friends in China cut off, and so on.

Yuan Hongbing said that this large-scale destruction of Shen Yun performance posters is not the work of overseas Chinese; it is an action of transnational repression carried out by the CCP’s tyranny. Without the CCP’s tyranny, none of these evil things would happen.

Yuan Hongbing believes that the fundamental reason the CCP carries out such transnational repression and persecution of Falun Gong in Australia is fear. “For more than 20 years, Falun Gong practitioners’ truth-telling activities and the movement to withdraw from the Party have greatly awakened the Chinese people to the true nature of the CCP’s tyranny, producing deep fear within the CCP.”

He also revealed, based on information obtained from people of conscience inside China, that an internal document from a CCP policy research institute on overseas hostile forces also shows that Falun Gong is the primary hostile force targeted by the CCP. Long-term truth-telling and the promotion of withdrawal from the Party—especially the series of media and cultural organizations founded by Falun Gong practitioners—have seen their influence grow day by day and penetrate all levels of Western societies, already threatening the implementation of the CCP’s diplomatic strategy. Therefore, at this moment, the CCP continues to issue terrorist threats against Shen Yun performances.

“From this fear we can also see that the CCP is in fact now in a state of doomsday madness. The CCP’s tyranny is beset by internal and external crises; the greater the danger, the more, under the pressure of this doomsday crisis, its doomsday madness is revealed,” Yuan Hongbing said.

Responding to the CCP’s Transnational Repression—Australia Has Good Solutions

Yuan Hongbing stated that the CCP has not only displayed the barbaric behavior of global expansion of communist totalitarianism, but has also seriously interfered in Australia’s internal affairs and damaged Australia’s sovereignty.

As early as 20 years ago, he revealed that “a basic national policy of the CCP’s tyranny toward Australia is to gradually turn Australia into a political, economic, and cultural colony of the CCP’s tyranny.”

He emphasized, “Now the CCP’s evil has further developed—namely, the CCP’s tyranny has joined hands with international terrorism to carry out such naked international terrorist threats against cultural groups founded by Falun Gong practitioners, that is, Shen Yun Performing Arts. All of this, I believe, has sounded an alarm for Australia.”

As for how to respond to the CCP’s transnational repression and the damage to Australia’s national sovereignty, Yuan Hongbing said that first, politicians of all parties in Australia must clearly recognize that “the CCP’s tyranny is the most deadly and most threatening evil force in contemporary international politics to the people’s sovereignty of Australia and to Australia’s tradition of multiculturalism.”

He stressed that on the basis of this profound understanding, Australia should comprehensively review and strengthen its legal system to counter the CCP’s political, economic, and cultural infiltration, while strengthening law enforcement to impose powerful sanctions on crimes that dare to threaten Australian citizens and Australian society with terrorist acts.
