[People News] On September 23, local time, Xi Jinping, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, and his wife arrived at Andrews Joint Base, located near Washington, D.C. Outside the base, a clash broke out between pro-communist groups hired by the Communist Party and the protesting crowd. Supporters of the Communist Party intentionally shouted accusations that "Falun Gong attacks people," despite the absence of Falun Gong practitioners at the scene. Pro-Communist Supporters Deliberately Shout "Falun Gong Attacks People"; Eyewitnesses Describe the Scene

According to The Dajiyuan, a large number of protesters gathered outside Andrews Joint Base in the afternoon before Xi Jinping's plane landed. The banners and slogans from protest organizations, including the Chinese Democratic Party and the Alliance to Save China from the Communist Party, featured messages such as "Restore Hong Kong," "Remove the dictator Xi Jinping," "Live organ harvesting," and "Xi Jinping step down."

Individuals arranged by the Communist Party to welcome Xi were also present. Voice of America reporter Huang Yaoyi reported from the scene that several numbered large buses were parked in a nearby parking lot. An interviewed driver disclosed that they were there to welcome Xi.

Videos shared online depict shoving and struggles over banners between the "welcoming" group and the protesters. Police were on-site to de-escalate the situation and prevent further conflict. (video link)

Later that day, Yang Lei (online name 'Caiqi Ge'), a member of the China Democracy Party who was present at the scene, released a video in which he stated: 'I saw my fellow party members being assaulted by the welcoming committee for Xi Jinping, and I could only step in to intimidate them with my height for self-defense. They were quite strong and struck hard, using stainless steel flagpoles to poke us, while falsely accusing us of being attacked by Falun Gong. I ended up breaking a pair of glasses worth 450 dollars and sustained some minor injuries. Chinese people do not attack other Chinese people; the Chinese Communist Party is our common enemy.' The video shows that during the conflict between the two groups, pro-Communist individuals were repeatedly shouting through a loudspeaker, 'Falun Gong is attacking,' thereby slandering Falun Gong.

In an interview with a reporter from The Dajiyuan, Yang Lei confirmed that around 5:20 PM local time, at the outskirts of Andrews Joint Base, the protesters against Xi and the welcoming personnel organized by the CCP were initially standing apart. 'Later, someone from the other side actively came to film us and entered our ranks, seemingly trying to snatch our belongings, which led to a dispute, and (the other side) even started hitting us.'

Yang Lei heard someone shout that there was an attack. 'I stepped forward to block them; many people came over one after another. They wrapped the national flag around themselves and poked us with stainless steel poles, while shouting through a loudspeaker: 'Falun Gong is attacking, Falun Gong is attacking,' and that’s how it unfolded.'

"They are aware that we are from the Democratic Party, not Falun Gong. Clearly, Falun Gong was not even at the scene, so why are they accusing Falun Gong of attacking people?" Yang Lei stated, "We did not carry any Falun Gong banners; we only had banners from the Chinese Democratic Party." He added, "They are intentionally framing Falun Gong; in reality, they were the ones who attacked us, yet they shout that Falun Gong is the aggressor. The flagpole we held had content related to the Chinese Democratic Party, and it seems the CCP orchestrated this narrative." 

Yang Lei recounted that when the altercation began, he called the police, and they arrived shortly thereafter. 

He believes that the CCP is allowing these individuals to blame Falun Gong, likely because Falun Gong is too influential. However, Falun Gong promotes the principles of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance," and he emphasized, "Whether it is Falun Gong or the Chinese Democratic Party, we are all engaged in peaceful protests and will not initiate attacks; we can only defend ourselves." 

He noted that the individuals organized by the CCP arrived by bus in the morning, with over a dozen buses, and their presence was noted at every intersection, significantly outnumbering the protesters. "They were on chartered buses and were being paid; essentially, the CCP is recruiting people to come and welcome Xi Jinping." 

Yang Lei speculated that among these individuals, there are CCP soldiers, as they all appear quite strong. These individuals have been recording videos and monitoring the crowd continuously. "It is likely that the CCP compensates them well, which differs from the treatment ordinary citizens receive when welcoming Xi Jinping."

Xu Jiankang, a member of the Chinese Democratic Party, informed Dajiyuan reporters that he filmed the video in which a pro-communist individual is heard shouting 'Falun Gong is attacking.' At the time, he was with Yang Lei, known as the flag-stomping brother. 'When both sides began to fight, I quickly captured the video in that urgent situation and immediately posted it online.'

He stated, 'The little pink pro-communist supporters were over there, preparing to welcome Xi Jinping. We, the Democratic Party members, rushed from New York to Washington yesterday (22nd) specifically to protest, which led to a verbal confrontation between both sides.'

During the incident, someone from the pro-communist crowd approached first and clashed with the Chinese Democratic Party members. Xu Jiankang explained, 'Their goal was to prevent us from protesting there. They initially sent a woman over, followed by a large group of men who appeared to be thugs, rushing to attack our party members, resulting in an argument and a fight.'

Xu Jiankang noted that the protesters chanted slogans like 'Down with the Communist Party, down with Xi Jinping,' while the pro-communist group shouted 'Warmly welcome Xi Jinping.' He claimed these individuals were hired by the Chinese Communist Party to create a favorable impression for Xi Jinping, suggesting that the large turnout was meant to show him support.

He added that these individuals arrived by bus, and some appeared to be agents, looking quite strong and carrying objects resembling umbrellas, which seemed to contain iron rods inside.

The Chinese Communist Party has been exposed for financially hiring a welcoming team.

Pro-democracy activist Zheng Min posted on platform X, revealing that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has dispatched buses to 'welcome' Xi Jinping! According to members of the Fujian Association present at the scene, the CCP's embassy and consulates in the U.S. organized them to travel to Washington to 'welcome' Xi's visit, with the person in charge distributing money to them along the highway. Just moments ago, several buses filled with people departed one after another.

She remarked that the CCP is squandering the people's money on this endeavor. Without the overthrow of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese populace will not improve their circumstances. Being a slave to the Communist Party for financial gain will not lead to a better life for the Chinese people either.

Zheng Min further noted that Xi Jinping is about to arrive in the U.S., and the reception at the airport is already lively. The CCP has hired a large number of supporters waving five-star flags at the scene. Chen Shanzhuang, a leader of the overseas Chinese community who protested in San Francisco in 2023, has made another appearance at the site.

User 'YiFeng Su' on platform X reported that on September 23, in Washington, D.C., the CCP's diplomatic agency organized a significant number of elderly men and women to charter buses and provide boxed meals to welcome Xi. Additionally, each temporary worker has a budget of at least $500, with intermediaries expected to take half, leaving at least $200 per day, which covers meals, accommodation, and transportation. 'Some of the older supporters are extremely dedicated, not only insulting us but also initiating attacks, like this Guangdong-accented Marxist traitor featured in the video.'

Ahead of Xi Jinping's visit to the U.S., multiple WeChat group screenshots and internal recruitment messages have surfaced within overseas Chinese communities, indicating that an organization is mobilizing Chinese individuals to participate in the 'welcome event' in D.C.
