[People News] In late October, residents in 17 countries worldwide were advised to stockpile food for 3 to 10 days, with one of the reasons cited by the United States being the need to protect against potential cyberattacks from CCP hackers.
Shortly after this warning, in early November, several supermarkets in Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Luxembourg, and Sweden reported a sudden increase in the temperatures of their refrigerators and freezers, leading to the disposal of spoiled food. According to Radio France Internationale, multiple experts explained that these incidents were the result of cyber attacks on supermarket refrigeration systems, which put connected devices at risk. "These devices can control the temperature of multiple refrigerators... You only need to log in with a password to set the temperature for the freezer."
Olivier Daloy, a cybersecurity expert from the cloud security firm Zscaler, noted that without adequate protective measures, any connected "factory or equipment" in sectors such as automotive, energy, or transportation could be exposed to similar risks.
While no experts have directly attributed the hacker attacks to the CCP, it is curious that shortly after multiple countries issued food storage advisories, several supermarkets in Europe had to discard food due to cyber attacks. This raises the question of whether these hacker attacks were indeed targeted.
The warnings from various countries to stockpile food appear to be 'well-founded.' In mid-October, hundreds of supermarkets across France, including major retail chains like Intermarché and U Cooperative, were targeted in a coordinated cyberattack on the same night. Hackers remotely took control of refrigeration equipment, forcing it to continuously defrost and raising the temperature to 50 degrees Celsius, which led to the destruction of a significant amount of fresh and frozen products, with potential nationwide losses reaching millions of euros.
Vincent Strubel, the director of the French National Cybersecurity Agency (Anssi), stated that the main issue was that 'the refrigeration equipment was directly exposed to the internet, and its management had not implemented special security measures, resulting in weak password strength.' The perpetrators behind this attack 'could be anyone.' Their objective was to manipulate physical equipment through computer systems.
A cybersecurity expert, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that the security vulnerabilities in industrial infrastructure arise from the integration of information technology (IT) systems with operational technology (OT) equipment, some of which are quite outdated. Once hackers gain access to the computer network, they can reach the systems that directly control these devices, potentially causing chaos in the real world.
This brings to mind a recent article from The Dajiyuan titled 'Under 42 Billion Cyber Attacks in Three Days, the Quit Party Centre: Unbreakable After 22 Years of Persistence.' The article highlights that in October 2026, just six days after the launch of the new website for the global Quit Party Service Centre, it was subjected to a large-scale cyber attack that lasted nearly three days. The attack generated 4.2 billion malicious requests, with six peaks of activity, reaching nearly 100,000 hits per second at its highest point. The technical team worked tirelessly through the night, successfully blocking 99.8% of the malicious traffic, ensuring that the core data remained safe. Notably, this attack occurred on October 13, 2026, almost simultaneously with an attack on a supermarket in France.
CCP hackers not only targeted the Quit Party Centre's website but also launched attacks on online media operated by Falun Gong practitioners, including The Dajiyuan and Minghui.org.
In September 2026, The Dajiyuan's Chinese website experienced a massive distributed denial-of-service attack. Hackers employed network addresses from around the globe in an attempt to overwhelm the site with excessive traffic. Recently, Minghui.org published an article revealing that CCP hackers attempted to steal information from their platform.
This attack is, in fact, quite absurd. The media run by Falun Gong practitioners has all its information publicly accessible online, with no secrets involved. The activities of Falun Gong practitioners, aside from self-cultivation, primarily focus on opposing the persecution by the CCP. Historically, the CCP has succeeded in information theft during its conflicts with the Kuomintang and in various sectors of society, but such tactics are ineffective against cultivation, as the cultivation community does not pursue personal interests. Nevertheless, the CCP's persistent engagement in dark and secretive sabotage, driven by a devilish mindset of suspicion towards others, only serves to further expose its own malevolence.
Throughout history, powerful regimes have often been able to physically eliminate people, but they cannot extinguish the awakening of the human spirit; the choice between justice and conscience cannot be forced.
Some internet users claim that wherever the shadow of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) looms, chaos follows. This holds true in both the virtual and real worlds. Whether it’s the wars in the Middle East, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the nuclear ambitions of Iran and North Korea, or the Taiwan Strait crisis, the CCP's interference is evident in all these situations. If the CCP were to vanish, those small troublemaking nations like Iran, North Korea, and Cuba would quickly falter, leading to global peace and an immediate improvement in the economies of all countries.
Additionally, some netizens assert that the elimination of the CCP should be the foremost priority for democratic nations worldwide. Furthermore, this does not necessitate a hot or cold war; it simply requires dismantling the CCP's Great Firewall and sharing the truth about the CCP's malevolent actions with the Chinese populace. While the CCP itself engages in cyberattacks against the world, it frequently accuses foreign hackers of targeting it. If Western nations were to successfully breach the CCP's Great Firewall, the Chinese people would likely turn against the CCP, and the rest would be left to fate, resulting in the CCP's swift disappearance.
