High temperatures, black winds, torrential rain, giant hail, and even 'June snow'—these five extreme weather phenomena that defy logic occurred in rapid succession in the same region and timeframe. Everyone is asking the same question: What is happening in China in 2026? As the saying goes, 'June frost indicates grievances'; who exactly is the 'Dou E' in this context?

Within just two minutes, this wall of black wind and sand completely consumed the entire residential area. Visibility dropped to zero in an instant, and the sky transformed into 'midnight mode' in a heartbeat.

As the storm approached, fierce fires erupted simultaneously in various parts of the city, with thick smoke swirling amidst the raging yellow sand. The strong winds caused windows to rattle and shatter, cars were overturned, and trees were snapped in half. Several urban districts faced water and power outages, and traffic came to a complete standstill. The scene was even more terrifying than a Hollywood disaster film.

But the ordeal was far from over. By the evening of June 2, cities like Changchun and Siping in Jilin, along with areas in Liaoning, were struck by a violent thunderstorm and a barrage of hail! The large hailstones fell relentlessly, hitting the ground with a deafening crash.

At this critical growth period for rice and corn after transplanting, the northeast was facing a dire situation. Everyone is acutely aware of the economic downturn in China over the past two years. Consequently, the giant hailstones fell for just a few minutes, smashing the newly sprouted, vibrant seedlings into the mud, flattening vast cornfields, and even tearing through the plastic covers of agricultural greenhouses!

The subsequent frost in June sent netizens into an uproar.

In the early hours of June 1, the northern region of Genhe City in Inner Mongolia and the Daxing'anling area of Heilongjiang experienced a sudden and dramatic drop in temperature, despite having already entered early summer. To everyone's astonishment, heavy snow began to fall from the sky.

In traditional Chinese culture, there is a well-known saying: 'Snow in June indicates great grievances.' When such an extreme and illogical weather phenomenon occurs, the comment sections of Douyin, Weibo, and Kuaishou erupted with a wave of reactions. People were questioning: Why is the weather in 2026 so abnormal? What kind of grievances have accumulated in the world that would lead to such a heavy snowfall in early summer?

Meanwhile, Guangdong faced torrential rain and flooding, while Beijing issued four simultaneous weather warnings.

At three o'clock in the morning, while residents were still asleep, a torrential downpour lasting just twenty minutes caused mountain floods to surge into homes. Many people were jolted awake from their dreams, only to find that the water had already risen above the head of their beds! Refrigerators and sofas were floating in the water!

Drivers, while watching the towering waves, shouted in despair: 'This isn't driving; it's sailing!' 

Even more unusually, this extreme and violent energy that seemed to make the heavens flip the table did not stop in the Northeast. It came with rolling black clouds and hail, rushing towards China's political heart—Beijing—at a breakneck pace. 

On the evening of June 2, the Xinhua News Agency issued a rare political announcement at the highest level. Major ministries, including the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Natural Resources, issued an unprecedented 'four simultaneous warnings.' The official announcement even specifically named the areas: from the night of the 2nd to the 4th, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and Shandong are expected to experience widespread thunderstorms and strong winds, with hailstones anticipated to exceed 'two centimetres in diameter!' 

What does this signify? It indicates that this apocalyptic weather, which has severely impacted the Northeast, has transformed into a nationwide disaster of massive scale, striking from both the north and south. And Beijing finds itself at the eye of this storm. 

The official warning states that sudden winds of level 9 or higher will be accompanied by intense thunderstorms and hail, launching a nighttime assault on Beijing. While the day remains in barbecue mode, it will abruptly shift to thunderstorms and hail at night. This extreme contrast defies logic, leaving the entire Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in a state of anxiety. 

On the eve of June Fourth, a large-scale mobilisation of special police for stability maintenance

Every year, the anniversary of June Fourth presents an unavoidable "political test" for the ruling Chinese Communist Party. As we approach the 37th anniversary of the Tiananmen Incident in 2026, the unusual celestial phenomena overhead have intensified the authorities' fears to unprecedented heights.

According to exclusive first-hand reports from Radio Free Asia, this year's stability maintenance efforts have revealed an unprecedented level of absurdity and cruelty. For over thirty years, the Tiananmen Mothers have been able to pay tribute to their deceased children at the cemetery under police supervision, but by 2026, even their right to mourn their loved ones at the cemetery has been completely revoked and forcibly banned by the authorities!

Wang Nan's mother, the elderly Ms Zhang Xianling, expressed her despair, revealing that her community has been under strict surveillance by state security and police since April 28. There are two security guards stationed at the community entrance, two police officers blocking access downstairs, and two police cars parked at the main gate.

In addition to the Tiananmen Mothers, the entire conscience group in Beijing has faced a sweeping crackdown by the end of May. From 9 AM to midnight each day, the internet is tightly restricted, with foreign VPNs only managing to connect in the late hours of the night.

Mr He, a member of the Guizhou Human Rights Seminar, revealed that the police monitoring him downstairs call daily to threaten him: 'Do not attempt to bypass the firewall! To be frank, we can accurately track when you try to do so from our backend!'

In Hangzhou, Zhejiang, members of the China Democracy Party, including Chen Shuqing and Xu Guang, have also received death threats, with strict orders not to bypass the firewall during the June Fourth period and prohibitions against accepting interviews from foreign media.

Simultaneously, netizens on the X platform have reported that Chinese special police are on high alert in preparation for the eve of June Fourth, enforcing strict stability measures.

Heaven does not engage in politics, sending down strange phenomena from above; meanwhile, the authorities on the ground appear weak and fearful, even afraid of a mere sigh from the populace, leading to a complete lockdown. Can Zhongnanhai effectively guard against the common people below and the overwhelming will of heaven above?
