China's Beijing and Other Regions Experience Shocking 'doomsday Blockbuster' Scenes

[People News] Recently, terrifying sights have emerged in the skies over various locations, including Beijing, Hebei, Jilin, and Jiangsu. Media outlets have described these phenomena as 'comparable to a doomsday blockbuster.'

On July 7, mainland blogger Li Xueyi released a Douyin video indicating that on the evening of July 6, 'dark clouds pressed down on the city' over Beijing. The video shows the sky over Beijing filled with ominous dark clouds, creating a frightening atmosphere. On the evening of July 7, another mainland blogger, Chong Ge, also shared a video stating: 'This afternoon in eastern Beijing, dark clouds loomed overhead, thunder was deafening, and heavy rain was imminent.' Other bloggers noted: 'Dark clouds dominate the sky with an imposing presence.'

Hebei Sky

On the evening of July 4, an unusual phenomenon was observed in the sky over Zhangjiakou, Hebei. The video shows large, thick dark clouds hanging low, with bizarre shapes that appeared fierce and terrifying, as if they were clawing down towards the ground, creating an apocalyptic scene.

In this alarming setting, many tourists gasped in shock. The videographer, still shaken, exclaimed: 'Oh my! The sense of oppression is overwhelming, it’s so scary!' The videographer then gasped and repeatedly said, 'It’s so scary!'

Numerous netizens also shared screenshots of the dark clouds over Zhangjiakou, Hebei, on the evening of July 4, claiming that the clouds resembled a 'human face.'

According to Hong Kong 01, on the evening of July 4, the sky over Zhangjiakou City, Hebei, was dominated by dark clouds, with heavy thunderstorm clouds stretching across the horizon. The thick, deep black clouds obscured the sun and swept in like an apocalyptic event, with witnesses commenting, 'It’s so scary,' and 'It feels like it’s about to swallow me whole.'

According to Sina Finance, on the evening of July 4, a curved thunderstorm cloud formation appeared in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, creating a strong sense of oppression that was "comparable to a doomsday blockbuster."

Sky in Jilin 

On July 6, the sky over Changchun, Jilin, was similarly dominated by dark clouds pressing down on the city. A video from the "Jilin Daily" showed that the black clouds above Changchun descended like a giant hand, creating an overwhelming feeling of pressure. Some netizens described the scene as dark clouds hanging like a giant hand, enveloping the entire city in a heavy and suffocating atmosphere.

Sky in Jiangsu 

On July 7, a netizen from Lianyungang, Jiangsu, shared a video depicting dark clouds looming overhead, stating, "Black clouds press down on the city, and it turns dark in an instant." The footage revealed thick black clouds stretching across the sky, seemingly ready to engulf the tall buildings, creating a sinister and eerie ambiance.

"Scary? The days of great power and awe are ahead." 

According to ancient texts, the phrase "black clouds pressing down on the city" is considered an ominous sign, often interpreted by ancient people as a warning of military disasters, upheavals, or celestial phenomena. In the Tang Dynasty, Li He’s poem "The General of Yanmen" uses the line "black clouds press down on the city, the city is about to collapse" to metaphorically describe enemy troops encroaching, with the city walls on the verge of collapse, creating a tense and urgent atmosphere, which is seen as a bad omen of war. In ancient times, this type of low-pressure rolling cloud was referred to as "demon clouds" or "strange clouds," often foreshadowing political turmoil, war, and disasters, prompting rulers to cultivate virtue and prepare for calamities. 

Netizens on X also commented: "There is great beauty in nature, but also great awe; we must respect nature." "The power of nature is truly both shocking and spectacular, feeling very vibrant!" "The prevalence of demons is why such scenes occur." "Scary? The days of great power and awe are ahead." "It foreshadows the imminent demise of the Xi bandit and the Communist thieves!"
